Is this a bug why I am getting unbreakable lanterns while a survivor is hooked?

Rapidly hooking 2 survivors where the lanterns are still red from the first hook and the second hook flips them back to yellow?
The lantern is on hill you see it change to yellow as the player is hooked

Had this happen to me, Hooked a survivor seen it go red and hooked a second and it went to yellow.
