i get that old tinkerer was really opressive and stuff,but it was honestly SO FUN going with or against with the perk. Obviously in todays meta its unbalanced so i have a few suggestions to make it actually work.

1-time based- tinkerer works as usual, but only activates once a machine is done, for lets say 15-30 seconds. This removed the constant oppression but doesnt make it includive for most killers

2-token based- After a killer objective is met a token is gained which will apply olds tinkers effect for that one charge interaction. This limits oppression whilst making it still viable for most killers.

3- Hex- it can be a hex. Im not a big fan of that but heck yeah.

    The add-on effect definitely won't come back, but I think it would be ok to remove the one-time condition from the current effect, since Ruin has already been nerfed.

    BHVR themselves hated the perk so much to the point of reworking it.

    Every killer that had charge time add-ons had to be finetuned perfectly for Tinkerer to be good but not OP. I can only imagine how much more time in development they spent with this single perk.

    no developer is going to want to maintain 32 Killers because of one perk, its absolute waste of their precious time.

    That stacked with charge add ons and wind up add ons, which created the no skill scenario of huntress at her PTB when she got the 10 hatchets and spam. Not fan of that at all as killers already have a charge add ons. Not sure why shoud huntress wind up at 0,5s or Billy rev up even faster.
