Premonition Rework Concept

While your Aura is revealed to the Killer, Premonition activates and notifies you. If Premonition has been active for a total of 30/25/20 seconds, you see the Killer's aura for 3 seconds, and Premonition's timer resets.

Premonition cannot activate while you are afflicted with the Blindness, Oblivious or Exhausted status effects.

This would make Premonition an alternative to Distortion as an anti-aura read perk and would be very potent for callouts on a SWF. You're trading the ability to counteract the aura read for a more consistent activation.

More importantly, it'd give new players an excellent awareness tool about aura reads. I've seen a lot of new players make fatal misplays because they weren't aware of an aura read ability I had, eg. getting into a locker right after I trigger BBQ, or not understanding Scratched Mirror Myers. I like getting value from aura reads of course, but it'd be nice if new players had a tool to allieviate the need to memorise every source of it.

Blindness/Oblivious/Exhausted all disabling this Perk also provides Killers a valuable angle to disable this, or BHVR means to stop Premonition from triggering on certain aura reads and keep them hidden.

I am worried this could still be too strong in the hands of SWFs, but I think that the trio of statuses that disable this Perk would suffice to keep it under control? And idk how people feel about completely deleting and replacing Premonition's concept, I wouldn't know if there are any dedicated Premonition fans out there.

    This is hugely stepping on Object of Obsession's toes, albeit it is a much weaker effect to avoid the sometimes-downside of a periodic aura exchange.

    That said, Premonition could do with being brought into modern DBD. I'd be interested to see how this perk plays out.
