Kill Switch update: We have temporarily disabled The Legion due to an issue that allows for infinite power spam. The Legion will be re-enabled once this issue is fixed.

2v8 needs a lot of CHANGES

This mode in theory is very fun, but it has been suffering practically since the 1st iteration. The killer role has continued being much more popular than the surivvor mode, hence the killer queue times have always been bad (and have gotten worse, I believe)

I order to fix the queue problems, these are the solutions I think are necessary:

(A) You need to tone down the stuff you add to the killers, because 2 new killers with each new iteration makes the killer much more interesting to play, and so the queue times worsen. Make is 1 or 0 new killers per a release.

(B) You need to start adding a lot of new, fresh changes to the survivor class and make the Survivor roles much more enjoyable to play. Some suggestions:

  1. Remove Legion from 2v8. Most people don't know how to take hits with deep wound, and pallet stunning Legion out of power is mostly RNG. Lots of survivors getting injured quickly makes Oni very oppressive, plus makes the Escapist class skill Self-Care useless / a waste of time. Legion can also use Frenzy to quickly locate a recently caged survivor, to ensure a tunnel.
  2. Start adding new classes to survivors. We've had only 4 for ages. Give us a flashbang class, a Mettle of Man class, Power Struggle class, decoy class, etc.
  3. Make chests more interesting. Finding an uncommon toolbox is a waste of time. A medkit is decent, but it's better to find a Medic. Flashlights are what is the most fun to use, so maybe considerably up the spawn rate of them? Smoke bombs are okay, but don't really add anything fun to chases; they're mostly used to hopefully evade killers.
  4. Eliminate/discourage 2v1-s. Having a fun chase as a survivor can feel so satisfying, until the other killer arrives to "sandwich" you with the other 1, and then you just die, since there's nothing to do, nowhere to go in that chase. Every time I got 2v1-ed, it felt very frustrating, unfilfilling, and disappointing. I know that 2v8 is a chance for killers to experience some fun co-op action, but getting easy downs because you ganged up on a suvivor and eliminated all chances of the surivvor successfully looping is no fun at all for the survivor side.
  5. Being in a cage in the 1st stage SUCKS. Especially when all of the other survivors are miles away. There's nothing you can do. Nothing at all. It is extremely boring. (the main game suffers from this problem too, kind of). All you do is wait for ages. How about a mini-game or something during this boring time? in VHS (another game), you could do stuff while downed (their version of being hooked), you were doing things, and it wasn't boring. in DBD, you can't do anything.

Number 5 agree, hanging in a cage or on the hook not being to do anything at all is very boring. Give us a random skillcheck mini-game or somethin'
