2v8 cages
Can someone tell me why anticamp doesnt work in this game mode anymore?
I was playing game on rpd against trapper and he put traps under cages idk hows that possible but reminds me of 2016. Did devs buff him?

Didnt see anyone. I was rescuing survivor caged on other side of the map. Idk if caged ones counts too but i woudnt be supriced if they did.

I've had countless games where killers were hook chasing from one end of the map to the other, 95% of the time it was an Oni. No survivors around, they changed something, anticamp worked well last year.

the cage is supposed to move you somewhere else if the killer stays close for too long .

Actually, I have had at least two or three instances where I wanted to force a cage move as the killer in 2v8 and thus gave the survivors a soul stare - and they just wouldn't budge. I have no idea if there was a buddy of them really close by, as I had no interest to camp out a hook stage, but it was really strange: normally the cage should sink into the floor after 5s and relocate, so this feature might either have been removed or is bugged right now.

Happened to me too. Cage was right next to an Exit Gate and I wanted to shift it elsewhere, but it wouldn't move. I just gave up after 30 seconds lol

I know but it isnt working at all, on top of that i've seen trappers traps under cage and it didnt look like rng only if he did put thoose traps in corner by himself which doesnt make sense.

I thought it was intentionally removed to prevent Killers from forcing cages away from Survivors going for saves.

No, they made it so cages wont teleport if survivors are near in the 2nd iteration but in this iteration cages don't seem to teleport whatsoever.

I was camped in a cage by an Oni for what must have been 20 or 30 seconds of him running around me with absolutely no other survivors nearby before the anti-camp feature kicked in.
