A solution for the twitch shirts and the creator program discourse
I think a lot of streamers at the moment are putting a lot of emphasis on the twitch shirts going from essentially being randomly selected to a now steep requirement that most streamers who may even have twitch shirts already, do not even meet the new criteria for. I think the main problem here is the value being upheld within these shirts, they are literally just purple shirts with the twitch logo and I think the issue is the lack of representation for the community being able to say; “hey i am a streamer.” without plastering TTV in caps all over their username and profile. I personally don’t think twitch shirts should be synonymous with being partnered with dead by daylights creator program as it is a poor way of showing this sentiment when some content creators use other platforms for their content creation like youtube or tiktok. I say make it so anyone who has a twitch account connected to their behaviour account obtain these shirts so they can represent themselves as a streamer and then create a new line of shirts with a unique design like the fog whisperer charms and badges or the developer shirts that better represents and conveys to the community the fact they are part of the new creator program. This way everyone is happy, streamers who previously felt worthy of the purple shirts can have their shirts to show off being a twitch streamer and the weight of the exclusivity is gone while creators in the new creator program can properly convey the fact they are partnered and have that same sense of exclusivity the twitch shirts previously had. I guarantee if the twitch shirts weren’t so exclusive people would not make as big of a deal about them and mostly only genuine twitch streamers or twitch enthusiasts would use them. Another thing I would like to mention in terms of the discourse is the steep requirement for joining the program. While I think this requirement is perfectly fine for all the perks that come along with it (irl and live events, dlc codes, etc.), I do believe the shop creator codes should be separate from this requirement to allow streamers of all sizes in their journey to be supported and uplifted. For example fortnites creator code program only requires 1k followers which I think is the perfect amount to begin allowing community members to show support to their current favorite streamers and creators in game. I think these changes would be great to create a starting point for content creators to represent themselves in game as well as gaining support in the community while still inspiring their goals of becoming a member of the content creation program and it’s exclusive perks and responsibilities!
TLDR: the solution suggested is to remove twitch shirts exclusivity in favor of a new design of shirts for the new creator program to represent themselves. Also allow content creators of smaller sizes to still be able to obtain a shop creator code to gain support and work towards becoming part of the official creator program.

It'd be a fun way to let people know you are streaming, using twitch shirts <3
Plus some of the designs (sables and gabriels) are unique and look good0 -
i will never understand what is such a fuss about twitch shirt at all. Not having them doesn't make you less valuable as streamer at all, but ig only this community has the problem with company actually seeking big streamers to represent it in creator programs (which is pretty basic thing for basically every company that does this)

Yeah, I don't mean to sound cynical or negative, but I can't help but simply think, "Who actually cares?"
