FNAF PTB THOUGHTS AND SUGGESTIONS

Springtrap is one of the best killers you guys have ever done and I applaud you for that, not only does he feel amazing to play as it's also really fun to play against. However, I think he needs some basekit changes to make him feel better for both sides. Additionally, I'll be talking about some of the killer changes you've made since I think some were very good, but others bad.

SPRINTRAP

  • CAMERA SYSTEM: I think the Camera System needs some buffs on the survivor side. Revealing Springtrap seems a bit gimmicky and useless most of the times, so I suggest that the cameras would also block the doors for Springtrap for about 15 seconds in order to make them more useful and also encapsulate that FNAF feeling of "protecting" the office with your cameras. I feel like this would also be a good counter to him, but fair.
  • SECURITY DOORS: Security Doors are mostly fine, but I think you guys should increase their numbers a bit. Perhaps add 1 or 2 more doors since I've had complete dead zones where I had to walk for a pretty long time and a Security Door could perfectly spawn in there to cover that area. Everything else about them is awesome and cool.
  • AXE AND ITS AREA: The axe is a really cool projectile for him, I think you guys nailed it as a mechanic, but when the axe is lodged and it creates that black area it becomes really useless as I think killer instinct does NOT do enough to benefit Springtrap at all. My suggestion for this would be to increase the area, at least double it and have survs inside of it still be revealed by Killer Instinct, but also from Obliviousness and Blindness. Addtionally, make the Killer Instinct and the other Status Effects linger for a bit longer after exiting the area. Lastly, when Springtrap hits someone with the Axe I think they should suffer from the Incapacitated Status Effect.

Lastly I'd also like to add that Springtrap should totally get blindness immunity in his jumpscare much like Wesker.

VECNA

Really good changes overall for out favourite Undying Lich, but I feel some of them were not very good and are actually detrimental to his strenght and fun level when playing him.

  • FLY: I think the nerf to his recovery cooldown was 100% unnecessary and should be reverted to what it was before (2.5 secs). The speed and spell cooldown buff is really good and should stay.
  • POTION OF SPEED: If you guys revert the Fly recovery cooldown you should rework this addon into something new as it won't have much purpose and will be bad.
  • RING OF SPELL STORING: Another addon I recommend reworking and giving a new effect after the Speel Cooldown reduction.

ARTIST

At first I was surprised to see this killer get some changes, but then I was even more surprised to see that those changes were nerfs. I don't think she needed those nerfs and the only good thing out of her changes was the Iridescent Feather buff, the other ones were pretty bad imo. I'd recommend reverting the changes and buffing some of her worst addons such as Automatic Drawing or Darkest Ink.

PERKS

  • HELP WANTED: Gimmicky perk, but in a good way. Happy to see more Gen Compromise perks such as Machine Learning. Only thing I'd do is buff the attack cd recovery from 25% to 30%, otherwise this perk is good as is.
  • PHANTOM FEAR: Potential to be one of the best perks in the game unironically, I just ask to lower its cooldown from 60 seconds to 30 seconds.
  • HAYWIRE: People have been asking for this perk type for years and now that we have it I feel like it might be a bit weak and too situational. I'd personally reduce the progress it requires to activate to 40% and also make it so that the first 5 seconds of its duration the Exit Gates' Switches Lights dont flicker.

The rest of the buffs to perks are good and I'd change nothing from them.

Honestly, really good PTB and seems like it'll be a really good patch. Everything else I've not talked about I feel is fine and a really good implementation (Go Next prevention, Map Queues, AFK rework, 4% deletion…). 10/10 update for me if it wasn't for the things I mentioned above. ^^
