Ghoul makes us not want to play.
Since this character came out, my friends and I don't really want to play the game anymore. This character (and the way people play them) is insufferable. Why you ask?
- The window to infect is HILARIOUSLY long. No other killer has that long a cool down I can think of.
- The REACH to infect is laughably ridiculous (Don't believe me? Look at this clip and tell me how this is fair?)
- The fact they can cancel their power after one leap to down almost instantly is dumb. Didn't Pyramid head get a big ol nerf cuz of that? That cool down needs to be more punishing.
- This is more a comment on the people who play Ghoul. 9 out of ten ghoul players come back to the unhook almost immediately because his kit allows you to do so. It's getting tiresome.
If DC penalties weren't a thing, you would see a HUGE influx of it against this killer I guarantee. I haven't been this annoyed since OG Legion came out and I took a very long break after that. I'm not trying to garner sympathy, just highlight a problem character that needs to be "brought in line" with the other killers.

i didn't play a single regular match while 2v8 was up because of him alone
i used to think playing against a good nurse was miserable. but he is absolutely frustrating

For once as a Killer Main I agree but For the opposite reason. I stopped playing The Ghoul because his power can be horrible too use for either side its rather to OP or To damn buggy. I stopped play many killers because I would rather get 4 man DCs or the survivors just don't try just to go next. This killer is so unemploy that I just stopped playing him entirely.
If I would love to see is A Ghoul Rework

I'd have to agree it's so hard to win with him as killer he's too OP and it's honestly just discurageing to even continue the match when he is killer

Ghoul has a non lethal power, his cooldown is short because he cant down using his power while pyramid head can, the grab range is still a bit silly i can agree with that, they should de couple the grab range and leap range. I think ghoul will be just fine if his grab was like 10 meters. They would have to compensate buff him after tho.

Ghoul has a non lethal power,
My guy, the Ghoul is breathing down my neck 3 seconds after hooking a Survivor at the other end of the map.
How is that not a lethal power? It is infact a VERY lethal power.-1 -
putting a 2 token cool down on his power after a pallet break was a hefty nerf to this killer
it forced the players to resort to using the scamper or try to bloodlust the pallet and if it's a safe pallet after a safe pallet they'll just have to break it and won't be able to catch up or do anything.
i don't think he requires anymore nerfs unless this particular nerf is made less punishing.

Yeah but it doesn't down you, hook you and sacrifice you automatically within 1s. Is balance see?

Ghoul is fine, just use a tiny bit of stealth. Different killers need different strategies, you CANT outrun him, stop trying to. People use the same 10 perks all the time and wonder why they don't work for every killer.

You do realize stealth is very hard with a host of aura perks and innate ability he has?

Yes I agree. Maybe people should be learning how to counter him instead of complaining. Nerfing only will make people not want to play the killer. This was supposed to be a pick up and play killer meaning this killer doesn't have much of a Skill floor to be good with him so of course he is gonna be strong.

still ??
the right way to play around ghoul is to never heal unless you're going for a save . Only drop pallet when outside his LOS . The reason so many struggle against him is they pre drop in his face making for an easy vault hit and they heal every single time which is a waste of time .-1 -
Kaneki's most popular builds either use Barbeque and Chili, or free up the perk slot and use BBQ At Home (Yamori's Mask). The only way you can stealth that is by being in his terror radius, yet somehow unseen, or by hiding in a locker and counting to 12.
Kaneki can be outrun, though, with mindgames and decent tile knowledge. Aggressive killers require aggressive gameplay to counter it.

What I see normally is Survivors Just Run in a straight line in the middle of the open and they Just expect him just to walk up to them like a normal killers would. This is a total different kind of killer and if survivors just took the time and learn him instead of complaining they would see The Ghoul I'd actually easy to bait.
When I go against him I learned to wait until Leaps at me and once he goes near me like he's smelling me I drop the pallet stun him then I run to the next tile

Ofc how could I be so blind.
