Once you have signed in, on the right hand side you can use the "report bug" button to be able to fully report the bug you've encountered. Thank you.
How are we supposed to report cheaters – by telepathy? Because your system sure doesn’t work.
I ran into a cheater today – not just your average speedhack clown, but someone with deeper access and zero fear of consequences. Why should they? The system practically protects them.
Let me break it down:
- They manipulated the zombie speed (Nemesis killer). Barely subtle – straight-up ridiculous. (The killer was not cheating)
- Speedhacks – of course. Child’s play at this point for him.
- At the end of the match, they triggered a crash. Not a random crash – a deliberate one.
- All Bloodpoints gone. No match rewards. No progress. Like the match never happened.
That’s not just cheating. That’s tampering with the data pipeline. Are we even pretending this is secure?
And here's the best part:
An error window slaps you in the face right after the match. No UI, no escape.
The only thing you’re allowed to click? “OK.”
Click it – boom – client restarts. Everything gone. Like a magician’s trick. Poof. Cheater vanished.
And you dare say I “can just report them in-game”? What game? The one that was just force-closed?
Earlier, I reported this in good faith. And what did I get?
Declined. Because I included a Steam profile.
Your reasoning? “Naming and shaming.”
Here’s a thought: if your report system is so fragile it can be bypassed with a crash, maybe players exposing cheaters aren’t the problem. Maybe you are.
Let’s stop pretending this is about “community rules.”
This is about convenience. It's easier to silence players than fix a real exploit.
So again I ask:
How the hell are we supposed to report cheaters who break the client mid-match? Carrier pigeon? Smoke signals? Ouija board?
