Is there a way to fix this is and is this a Dbd problem or actually a technical problem?
For the past couple months I've been getting these random bouts of packet loss where for a split second out of nowhere I basically get teleported somewhere or something weird happens and the packet loss symbol shows up on the hud. I've tried many things to try to resolve the issue from unplugging my router and plugging it back in, to just changing wifi networks, and nothing has fixed this. Dbd is the only game where this happens and I've tested other games and they all work perfectly fine. I had a similar issue to this a little over a year ago and I made a bug report and it was written off as technical issues, and yet I did nothing to any technical things and it just eventually stopped, so I tried to just wait it out but the problem seems to just be persisting this time.

Ah ok - i also still play on PS4 as well.
PS4 runs with a lower framerate of course but still good enough for me.
But there are some slowdowns here and there when a lot of effects happen.
I also get the hickups there sometimes when more things happen. The rubberbanding usually comes from the servers.

I had the same about my report on lag and rubberbanding- wrote off as technical issues but I know full well it was a DBD problem due to affecting other players in the matches too.
Wasn't as bad yesterday but I do feel that general stability is worse since the last 2v8.

As far as i know the game has kind of spikes when more things happen.
I have a pretty stable connection and also get hickups sometimes. Don´t know if the computer or the internet connection or whatever needs to be top tier to not have these.
Also their servers have problems sometimes too.
Maybe someone knows a solution, i don´t. Sorry.

Well this happens almost every match so it might be a different problem than whenever you get what you described, and I'm on PS4 which could also make it different

I did write a bug report and it came back as a technical issue, although I just think it's the servers which is what the answer usually is from other posts similar to this.
