Why does the Hatch animation supercede get slugged?
Classic "I found the Hatch" situation with a dumb Nea who let everyone in the game die. She was lucky to be the last, running Finesse and what not. Still doesn't stop me lunge through window and still hitting you.
Anyway, Nea decide to drop pallet and vault several times. Anything but you know, leave. Stood there long enough for AFK crows. I get close enough to lunge right she she's looking. I don't need to kill her. I could care less about a 4k with Hag. I run Beast of Prey on her for funsies.
What I do care about is her getting slugged for gloating and having to pull herself through the Hatch on no legs. That's how I win. She doesn't care. I know. But she can't deny knowing her place...unless it looks like she enduranced my hit through animation incompetence.
I don't care if this gets fixed or not. I know what happened.

Are you talking about hitting a survivor not cancelling the hatch escape animation?

Yep. They still act like they weren't just hit. Like a pallet vault with you downed at the end. Just a pet peeve.

i mean if you get hit vaulting a pallet you still get to the other side

Fair enough. It doesn't break the pallet the Killer still has to do that or vault the window. I just always feel the effects of "I lost the chase" when I'm Survivor. I feel like the last person never feels that standing on the Hatch.
