sometimes unable to enter hatch when embedded by the animatronics axe

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE:
Entering the hatch while the animatronic’s axe is embedded can be inconsistent. Sometimes, even when standing directly over the hatch, the game prioritizes removing the axe instead of allowing the survivor to escape. This resulted in me being unable to enter the hatch in a previous game.
PLATFORM:

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURRED:
I was playing on the new map and needed to find the hatch. I found it and ran toward it. However, even though I tried to jump in, the game wouldn't let me.
It kept initiating the axe removal animation instead. I attempted to replicate the issue in a private match, but it only happens occasionally.
