If killers are not weak, why do killer main feel like they cant do much?
Well, to begin with i am a killer main and i see a lot of problems on the role, but i can see its not that unbalanced, it gets good kills, wins most of the time and the only REAL problem are the SWFs that prefer bullying to playing.
Then, why killers feel so weak? i ve been taking a look and i think its all because killers lack variety, damn even survivors lack variety, addons normally just add 2% this and 5% that, the animatronic came with a bunch of gameplay changing addons that can completely change how the killer is played and what plays he can do.
I believe that if killers and survivors had more option of gameplay changing builds, everyone would be able to have more fun, since youd have the surprise factor on the enemy, since the enemy would not be able to know what you are running with your stuff.
So, to begin with, i believe there should be more objetives on the game, for an example, generators should have two types, the broken ones that need to be repaired and the dried ones that need to be fueled(like the blood moon ones but working with perks and powers.
This by itself would generate different matches, since fueled generators are faster but riskier to do.
Then we could have much longer generators repair speed, but with hidden buried parts around the map that need to be found and digged out of the ground, then carried to a gen to acelerate that ones repair, this would also be an interesting addiction for maps, like "treasure mark addons", places hidden on the map, marked on it, that the map wielder can dig with its hands and find an item that could even be forced by addons.
There could be safes spread on the game with extremely powerfull special itens that would allow you thing like applying a brand new part to one gen, a syringe to heal you over time, something that allows you to get out of hook alone once, smoke grenades, and to open that you need a key, with addon that could forcethe item drop.
On the killer side, there should be blood shrine hooks, special hooks that give the killer special effects while someone is hooked there but he is not nearby. For an example, there could be one that blocks the most repaired gnerator while the survivor is on the hook. one that gives the killer haste, makes generators that are not being worked lose repair progress.
Also, the totens should have a use and interaction even without perks, as a secondary objetive, an idea would be something like: The killer can white auras of broken totens 5 seconds after they got broken and rekindle then into an unused totem. When hooking a survivor the closest unlit totem becomes lit and emits a loud noise for survivors, both killer and survivors can see this totem, if a survivor destroy it they get 5% for 30 seconds and endurance during this time if they are unhoking someone or unhooked someone during this time. The killer can snuff the lit totem to explode the most repaired gen, damaging any survivor touching it and damaging it in 15% total progress.
There should also have more perks like flashbang, for both killers and survs, perks that generated temporary, consumable different abilities.
Killer powers and surv itens should have addons like the animatronic, game changing ones, not just +5% things
