Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Add a lock to Springtraps Doors

so after playing against him yesterday his stronges aspect is those teleporting doors. For one he springs out completely away from it and two he is really silent and there is no que. it is a mix of the dredge and ring chic. But even with lockers and tvs you can shut them off or lock a locker. While it doesn’t provide a total defense it is a good buffer. I don’t think any changes need to be made to him aside from this. He’s really good for the player base aside for the doors.
I also have only seen bots teleport as well. Since a survivor does not have control on where to go they seem useless for survivors.

They have complete control of where they are teleporting. You teleport to the door of the camera you are using

He's definitely a Killer that survivors benefit heavily from good Headphones/Hearing.

Xeno has a heartbeat while going through the tunnels and the turrets to alert you before coming out.

No, he doesn't, he had a motion tracker that bypasses undetectable, that's what gives xeno away, even in tunnels

I've found he has one singular tell on the doors to show he's traveling to them; the door display dims slightly and looks a bit fuzzy. Honestly he does need more of a tell as to whether or not he's traveling to a door, especially due to the invisibility bug that gives you far too little time to react, especially with how close the doors spawn to the generators.

I feel like doors should only lock themselves if a survivor is hooked right next to them. Not in a way you can't enter, but in a way you can't exit them.

So you can't pull a Hag and proxy-camp someone with MYC super easily.

Springtrap can be extremely aggressive with the security doors, and with good placements, has the best teleport in the game excluding Singularity who can place their pods wherever they want. The fact being there is no cool down which makes it feels so good but also oppressive. I don't think locks are the answer, but I do think Springtrap needs to be slowed when coming out of a door near a hooked survivor. Singularity and Dredge have something similar given that their powers are far less restricted compared to Freddy who has a lengthy cooldown or Sadako who also has a cool down and can have her TV's disabled outright.

Here is how I would do it
    Lock the door
Drains 5% per a sec from the battery
Killer attempting to open a locked door gives a loud notification to survivors and drains 25%

Spingtrap has lots of bugs, I'll wait for hotfix before judging.

And Xeno has his extremely oppressive turrets that take him out of his power. Also, his tunnels aren't right next to generators like Springtrap's doors. Springtrap is the only teleporting killer whose doors/tvs/lockers/whatever are right next to generators. It's basically giving him a free hit. I mean, I guess there's Freddy, but I've never had any problems with his teleporting.
