Go next prevention is Horrendous
I understand why this system was added but it needs some tweaks if all my teammates are death hook at 5 gens why am I still being forced to play this out even from the killer perspective Im pretty sure they’d rather move on to their next match like I had this happened and genuinely I had to wait like 8 minutes of a match we we’re already losing when I could’ve been in my next match with the old system can we get voting surrender option atp ? not to mention my brother who is new downloaded the game for the first time ever and got hard tunneled by a Springtrap and got a penalty what were you guys thinking with this untested system

I have two big problems with this system. First, I had to fail five consecutive skill checks as the second-to-last survivor so the final survivor could have a chance at the hatch. That's a long time in this game. That is the exact kind of thing people did not want happening, but here it is.
Second, this is supposed to be "go next" prevention. Prevention is one thing. BHVR has implemented this wide net of a punishment system that's absolutely going to punish innocent people. Being bad at the game is not a crime. Neither is getting tunneled. People were already complaining because being killed too fast by a cheater gets them punished, and yet BHVR goes ahead with a system that will punish that scenario and more. I don't like punishment systems. The DC penalty has been necessary because I remember what the game was like before it, but punishing people based on some unavoidably fallible criteria of how they played the game? Noooo. No.

YES. The mechanics of the unhook or the second hook are practically useless. I haven't hit any skill checks on my second hook because it's not even necessary. If my team wants to come after me before I fail 5 skill checks, they will do it because they will have plenty of time with that. So basically I have nothing to press even if I am playing well because it doesn't affect me whether I press or not, but the system says that, since I don't press anything, I want to let myself die xD WHEN PRESSING THE SKILL CHECK IS UNNECESSARY.
I don't understand how that is a mechanic to show that someone wants to let themselves die...
Did they want it to work? Then realize that they are making attempts to drop "without perks or offerings" and that they failed two skill checks in the second phase when more than one teammate is alive and standing. Ta-da! Magic formula to know that they let themselves die and therefore deserve a big time penalty.
Forcing them to play is not going to help. All we'll do is take them off the hook and they'll let the killer hang them again... or worse, they will sabotage the team, They'll be useless on the team anyway. That match is going to be doomed one way or another. It's better to keep those people away, prevent them from playing by penalizing them, and let the people who want to play do so.
