High polling rate causes unstable behaviour

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: Attempting to play the game with a high polling rate mouse (above 1000Hz) causes extremely unstable behaviour, causing performance drops, inconsistent camera movement, inputs not registering etc.
PLATFORM: Windows-Steam, but any works
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED:
Step 1- Set your mouse polling rate to something high, particularly anything above 1000
Step 2- Observe.

Man i wish they would adress this. I always have to decrease my polling rate just for dbd
