Why camera can reveal Springtrap through walls ?
I like the camera mechanics itself is cool and it fit really good the licence Fnaf for sure but being aura reveal through walls is really frustrating for the killer.
like the killer didn't really have counterplay if he didn't have line of sight of the door to throw the axe if he didn't want to be aura reveal.
Without the reveal through walls its fine since the Springtrap can throw his axe, using his m2 he may need if he is in chase to don't be aura reveal.
Actually the aura reveal didn't offer much counterplay on the killer side and negate the potential of mind game in chase since the surv in chase see you through wall too.
This is all my opinion i would be grateful if a devs can respond why they balance it like that.

Its interesting but I still think this should get some max distance for reveal through walls, it looks like you can do it 24 or 32 meters which doesnt look ok.

Because it would be impossible to reveal him on indoor maps like Lery's, at least survivors will interact more with cameras once the audio bug is fixed for everyone, they are very usefull.

I mean, killer are stronger and weaker on some map, didn't really make it more fair for the killer, actually in indoor map the killer can't counter the camera reveal. :(

it's also harder to spot the killer with cameras on those maps. so it kinda works out.

it's not marginally different.
you'll just have to look around for a few seconds longer until you hear static or dont

90% of the time he is behind something when looking at him through the cameras so theu would barely work

I mean, or something like singu does, since its a big killer he could be easier to detect by the camera without being through wall. 👁️

A lot of the time the doors spawn in locations where even getting a line of sight on the killer might be impossible so I assume this is why they decided that they should be able to reveal through walls. If it required LOS the time to reveal should be significanlty shortened.

But at the same time the only counter for springtrap is to throw the axe at the door for wich he needs los obviously

I dont think that this is really an issue. Over time people will use the cameras less and less, it is just not worth it to waste time on the Cams for a bit of Aura Reveal on him.

True but the distance seems like 24+ meters which isnt good it should be like 18 meters same as his max range and if there are no viev blockers like walls etc then it can be more.
