Sitting in a game right now alt tabbed as the killer hunts my teammate. This happens more often than not actually.

    Seems like it would be easy to let us abandon in this situation.

    Yeah, I have no idea why there is no Abandon-Feature. If the Killer wants to waste time for a game they already won, at least the person on the ground should not have to deal with that.

    While neither of these things are particularly fun this is a false equivalency, the slugged survivor has no input in the matter whereas the killer can always hit the survivors out.

    They did address this, just in the worst way possible.

    Crows basically guarantee the 4k now. So all of the complaints about this were ignored and they likely won't do anything about it.

    "Being slugged for 4 minutes sucks, so we'll reveal your teammate so you're only slugged for like 3 minutes instead" is what they gave us.

    BHVR does not give a single ######### about you lying on the ground in this situation. That's the message from this patch.

    So you are telling me that getting the humilation of Toxic behaviour is the same thing as being bored?

    In both cases the outcome only changes if the Killer or the Survivor are doing a mistake.

    The slugged Survivor could still wiggle out of the grasp of the Killer or recover and get picked up by the fourth mate is the same as the Survivor could get sniped by a random Deathslinger shot and wont escape.

    Both is kinda unlikely but "could" happen so all should stay till the game is over.

    Just tell me one good reason why the Killer has to endure the Toxic behaviour other than he gets 200 BP for a hit and should be happy.

    Your argument is bad and you cannot really compare it.

    The Survivor on the ground has to wait up to 4 minutes and can do exactly nothing during this time, except for crawling around with the lowest movement Speed in the game.

    The Killer on the other hand has to wait for only up to 2 minutes and also has the ability to make decisions - doing nothing (which would be compareable to the Survivor on the ground), running around farming a few BPs with their power, or forcing the Survivors out. And yes, you might see them spamming a button, but grow up. They are childish, but this only works if you are childish as well. They are just spamming a button, they are not eating your cat or anything.

    I would personally not even mind if the Killer can abandon once the Gates are open (which can also be done by the Killer themselves), but I never really saw this as an issue since the EGC exists.

    Bare in mind you literally need to do this for the adept achievement unless you enjoy completely RNG hatch offs. It's actively encouraged in the current state of the game if you want to do the achievements.

    So it would be better that if only 2 Survivors are left the first one touches the ground instantly dies?

    I don't know if the abandon feature would be enough though. Then you have a bot that's designed to crawl towards their alive teammate and will sell them out. Even if they patch that, the survivor not downed still has to wait 4 minutes because of the killers ego, creating a boring scenario for both.

    Personally I think either hatch shoulder open when 2 are left and a survivor is slugged. If killer finds hatch they all go into EGC, if survivor finds hatch, the slugged get auto sacrificed or sth. Then the killer can go for the guaranteed 3k or risk going into EGC with 2 survivors.

    Otherwise, the downed survivor should have the option to kill themselves after a minute or something, still giving the killer some time to search for the 4th, but not 4 minutes.

    No, there should always be a choice. Personally, I would not mind if I would be out of the game immediatly in a 2v1 when I get downed, because it is very, very unlikely that a 2v1 ends up in anything else than a 3K with Hatch Escape or a 4K. But there should always be the choice.

    I mean, sure, you can do more, I agree. I just think that it would be the easiest to code a new condition to Abandon into the game.

    I also liked the idea that you can increase your crawl speed, but bleed out two times faster. This would lower the time to bleed out to 2 minutes, which would also be fine.

    Because I don’t see why survivors should get an abandon button when “the game isn’t over”, but killers shouldn’t get an abandon button when the exit gates are open because “the game isn’t over”.

    Some killers don't consider 3 kills and one potential escape through hatch a win. Also I kinda understand, that some people care of their kill rate, therefore I don't care about 4th kill and I have kill rate about 73 %, but if I do slug for 4k, I believe it'd be much higher and there are a lot of competitive players that want the best result possible.
