    Did you also fix the other Sadako bugs? I couldn‘t find them.

    • Shadow bugs when you use the deadly equinox skin and while she is invisible.
    • Grey circle under her position when using the deadly equinox skin and invisble.
    • The arrows don‘t disappear above the TVs and you teleport to the wrong TVs.

    Wow. No nerfs to Springtrap's teleport is an interesting choice.

    What about the Alien getting built in light born after they tap one of the tunnel locations without going through it.

    REVERT THIS ASAP:

    1000110232.jpg

    This is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous, it has been working this exact same way since Plague's launch, you cannot change this as a "bug fix".

    REVERT THIS ASAP, PLEASE.

    Thank you for fixing the bug where an emote gesture could cancel the ability to grab the axe. Amazing fixes and I know your team is working on the others.

    Great work as always. Cannot wait to have fun with the anniversary event starting tonight! 😀

    I appreciate you catching this! There was a rogue "not" in that line, which we've since updated.

    Nice! Are you guys also working on fixing Springtrap throwing an axe on a different direction than where he is looking at? 👾

    The team absolutely is! To set expectations, we don't expect a fix will be ready for the next hotfix, but it's something the team's working on.

    If you think Springtrap's teleport is op with the bugs fixed, that is just a skill issue

    Now fix the bug where Springtrap can be flashlight blinded instantly when grabbing a survivor from the door.

    Does this mean survivors can crouch walk in a small part of the map for 8.5 minutes before they get 1 crow, and it takes them 12.5 minutes of crouch walking to get 3 crows?

    Events

    • The 9th Anniversary "Twisted Masquerade" event returns Thursday, June 26th at 11:00 AM Eastern.

    What happened to the blood web this year? Are there only 2 birthday items per web and the chance of getting a cake can take up to 10 or 15 webs?

    I hope this really is another bug.

    Do we know when the next hotfix will be released?

    Are there any updates on the hit validation issues across pretty much every ranged killer right now? Is it at least being looked into?

    @ThatRyanB Why didn‘t players that bought kaneki in the ingame store get this? I really want the banner and the profile picture, but it isn‘t worth it to buy him in the PlayStation store again just for it. Sadly as I bought it I didn’t know that I wouldn‘t get this then.

    Is „up the ante“ supposed to only give 1% or is it bugged, because it was 3% before the last patch and it wasn‘t mentioned in the patch notes as nerf?

  • Langweilig
    Langweilig Member Posts: 3,125

    I have bought the Tokyo ghoul dlc (just ingame). It is a bit unfair that I now would have to purchase it again just for the banner and picture. Would it be possible to refund the character to then buy him in the ps store again ?

    there is always a bonus when buying the chapter instead of the individual characters.

    Speaking of Plague, was that horrible audio bug where she had the "swallow vomit back" sound play whenever she uses her power (not cancelling, just using it)?

    But the character is the chapter and I didn‘t know you would get something if you bought it in the ps store instead of the ingame store. I just found out a week ago that the banner and the picture existed.

    I understand. I'm just letting you know. this is a thing for every chapter. even the ones with just the one character.

    Well, while not as good as a partial revert, and slugging for the 4k in 2v1 situations is still an issue with the crows, at least now there should be less undeserved crows. Unfortunate that the most egregious (and common) situation is still not adressed by the crow change, just slightly mitigated.

    I'm honestly not sure if spending all that time testing stuff with friends and making all those paragraphs were worth it.

    Edit: after re-reading the patch note, and some quick math, there should be enough time to make slugging for the 4k in 2v1 situations (4 minutes) able to be dealt with without Survivors being in lose-lose scenarios. Good! Great thing!

    I'll gather my friends again and do some testing of the new version, I'll update on that in a few days.

    @ThatRyanB

    Can we expect another hotfix before the midchapter arrives and before the anniversary event ends? @SoGo already made a comment and linked all of the Houndmaster's bugs - she feels so awful to play due to all the bugs. Artist is also still bugged as hell and it ruins the enjoyment so much. I know you told me that some killer bugs have higher priority than others due to popularity but when killers feel awful to play, then they need a higher priority and this is the case for both, Houndmaster and Artist even though they have a low pickrate - the ones who play them love them.

    This is fantastic news! The crows were awful, I don't really care if it takes 5 minutes or 5 years to get crows as long as survivors don't get them just for losing a killer in a long chase or looking for a totem anymore…

    Please check the amount of cakes in the blood webs, it's considerably bad compared to other years, I'm barely getting cakes for all the matches.

    After checking today (since I wasn't able to do so when the update came out yesterday), the items in the rift were still not claimed, despite having already passed that level, as it doesn't label them as "owned" nor is it in the survivor's inventory. if you want to see an example of what I'm talking about, I have reported this problem on May 28th

    Alright! Back from testing with friends (and roping in a couple beginners to help) and the changes are very apparent.

    It's essentially impossible to get crows during normal gameplay outside of very specific extreme situations (slugging for the 4k guaranteed crows is kinda fixed? Getting 3 crows likely wont happen if you at least move around a bit, but one or two crows are still possible depending on Killer movement and Survivor movement.).

    However, during our testing one of my friends and I had an idea to fix the "got only 1 or 2 crows and got my position given away" issue;

    Make crows invisible and inaudible to the Killer (the Survivor would still see & hear them so they know that time is running out and they should move or do something soon) until 3 crows are gathered. That way someone hiding because a Killer is frantically searching for them after slugging their teammate won't be unfairly revealed by the single crow they got, but someone who hid in basement/map corner for the whole match will be revealed. When 3 crows are gathered, not only do they give periodic loud noise notifications and become visible but they also make directional noise in a 24m radius.

    This would remove the issue of getting revealed even though you were hiding by necessity rather than spite.

    While I still believe the original system was fine for the most part, and all that was needed was collision loss and item dropping/picking up no longer preventing crows, this is a much better version of the new iteration with a lot less room for undeserved crows.

    Overall, pretty much a W change, but the crows being invisible and inaudible until 3 are gathered would fix the handful of situations where it can still happen.

    This REALLY is a lot of work, to ensure innocent people are never punished by AFK crows.

    I hope this amount of empathy and attention is applied to the phase 2 changes for killers. I hope the anti camping/tunneling/slugging changes are so barely noticeable, that they never ever punish innocent killers.

    Because I've personally seen the crow loud noise notifications ZERO TIMES since the AFK crow nerfs, because they got nerfed so badly. So it would be a horrible double standard if the anti camping/slugging/tunneling changes punished innocent killers.

  • Skillfulstone
    Skillfulstone Member Posts: 1,124

    I agree, ensuring that innocent players aren't punished just for playing inefficiently and/or ending up in lose-lose scenarios is more important than harshly and consistently punishing something, on either sides.

    This is why the anti-slugging/anti-tunnel/anti-camp can't be too broad or impactful to not create lose-lose situations or become weaponizable, it's why basekit Unbreakable can never be a thing is the base game (in Chaos Shuffle, fine, it's time-limited and the chances of getting the right perks are slim to none) and why most "anti-something" measures should be focused on only dealing with the most egregious cases.

    A small demonstration of why basekit Unbreakable cannot be in base game;

    This was during the previous Basekit Unbreakable PTB, not only did it not fix anything (people still bled out and got repeatedly slugged even if they could get up) but it was easily abuseable to create lose-lose scenarios.
