Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Console needs button shortcuts/hotkeys

DbD's UI is clunky. The cursor does not move smoothly with the analog sticks. The menus freeze/pause every time something is clicked, every time anything needs to load, and sometimes while you're just moving the cursor.

And you took away the button shortcuts.

This is so tedious, time consuming, and annoying.

There needs to be a shortcut button for switching to previous/next characters. Going through and having to select each character through the menu and then return to the Bloodweb screen is ridiculously slow and janky.

And that's in reference to the PS4, which is less horrible than the Nintendo Switch.

It would also be nice if you'd bring back the shortcut button for accepting an invite to play together. Or make the invitation bigger. The buttons to accept and decline are tiny. The controls on Nintendo Switch, including controlling the cursor, feel like trying to push through molasses: no movement, no movement, slow movement, slow, slow, sudden fast uncontrollable jank. (I've changed controllers many times. It's always the same.) There are still no Dead Zone or Response Curve settings and the buttons to accept a friend invite are thin as a blade of grass.

BHVR, you mess with the menu and UI all the time. Don't you have anyone there with any UX experience or who at least plays on console? Because somehow it went from okay to awful as you've made changes.

Edit: I realized the menus freeze for a lot more reasons than clicking something, including freezing for no discernible reason at all.
