Shareable Perk Auto-Level Prestige Bug

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: The new auto-level system, introduced in Patch 9.0.0, has an issue where it can prestige killers you do not own and utilize their perks without paying for them.

PLATFORM: PC/Steam

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED:

Currently there is an event, the Twisted Masquerade, where you can level killers/survivors you do not own up to a certain limit. This has been done during the past several events for select killers/survivors. During this event, every unlicensed killer/survivor can be leveled. You cannot typically prestige these characters, as this action would make their perks shareable with other characters you already own. However, in Patch 9.0.0, with the introduction of the Five Nights at Freddy's Chapter, an auto-leveling system was added that allows players to level their characters in an instant without having to go through the process of leveling them one level at a time. The problem that occured was I was leveling a killer I do not own, The Artist, and mistakenly leveled her over the prestige soft-cap. This resulted in her being Prestige 1 Level 1 on the Bloodweb. I was wondering if this was a one-off bug, or if it would work on other characters. So I tested it as well on two other killers I do not own, The Twins and The Knight. Both killers are now Prestige 1. At first I thought this was just a slight bug that would allow you to level characters past their prestige without receiving any rewards, as the locked perks icon still appears on the characters you do not own. However, after going to level a Killer I DO own, Ghostface, the game provided me with the ability to unlock the perk Hoarder from the Twins on Ghostface's bloodweb. It seems that this bug only works on characters who you do not own and have not leveled up to the prestige soft-cap. If you level a killer you do not own to the limit of Level 51, the game gives you an error message when you attempt to level them past that, as intended. But for killers under Level 51, players are capable of skipping past the prestige by utilizing the auto-leveling system and unlocking their shareable perks for other killers without having to use iridescent shards or auric cells to buy the killer where the unlocked perks came from. As of now, I am unsure of if these unlockable perks will last past the event, as the killers/survivors themselves are removed from their temporary free-usable status after the event ends. So this may happen with the perks as well. But I just wanted to share this in case it could become a problem down the road. Though the killers currently available in the event are all killers that can be unlocked for free with earned iridescent shards, making this bug very minor, if the bug remains when licensed purchasable killers are given the same "temporary leveling" system in future events (as resident evil killers have been given this luxury in the past during 2v8 events BEFORE the auto-level system was introduced), it could create an issue where players farm killers/survivors that are meant to be paid for for their perks instead of paying money/auric cells to purchase the chapter or charcter itself.

Thank you for your time, hope this all helps!

(Apologies, I do not have screen recording software, so a phone recording will have to do. It should clearly exhibit all of the bug though. If you need me to show the process of prestiging past the soft-cap, once I earn more bloodpoints to do so, I'd be happy to comply.)

(This is a video exemplifiying when the soft-cap DOES work with the auto-leveler, as intended.)
