I beg you please do something about Ghostface's reveal mechanic.
He was out in the open not even obstructed by the corn and I was looking at him and he exposed me. I never got any indication I even partially tried to reveal him. I think his reveal mechanic only needs some type of rework. I'm over that he can also reveal at such a distance where we can't see him and have no counter as well.

There is a momentum before you start reveal eventhough it's buggy + GF marks faster than it takes to reveal.

Yeah ghost face is also stupid and I hate going against him. His reveal mechanic is super buggy, and often times I'm looking right at ghost face and it just doesn't reveal. At most you can reveal him once, and then you are already 99% marked. The mark never decays or lessens, so he pretty much gets a free instant down the next time he sneaks up on you, or the next time you're in chase and he just decides to pop his power on top of you.
I've even had really good ghost faces peeking around corners and then when I try to reveal them, they completely hide around it. Like what are you supposed to do? Chase/approach the killer and just give them a free hit anyway? Absolutely stupid.
The mark progress needs to regress slowly like it does with trickster's meter, or pause while you are in the middle of revealing, or even completely reset when you expose him. This is the only way to actually make the mechanic fair.
Make the stealth killer actually be stealthy and crafty in order to get his instadowns. Don't just hand them out for free.

There's no way you're asking for a nerf for a D tier killer 😂

He's not a "D tier killer"
Use your own brain, and stop allowing other big content creators to think for you.

He literally is.

Don't look at him directly. You have to center him halfway between the middle of your screen and the top of the screen.
That being said, the reveal mechanic has trouble because of client-server confirmation. Its just as problematic for ghostie.
You can even reveal him with him being behind you entirely.

I mean on the other hand he gets revealed through walls, stairwells, trees and all kinds of obstacles that - if you know physics - should not be seethrough.
Pretty balanced if you ask me.

he absolutely is, one of the weakest killers in the game.

Try playing him and you'll see how "good" he really is.

People really love to downplay how "weak" a M1 killer is, even if that killer has perfect stealth and only requires one hit for a down…

Yes, they really do need to fix it.
This reveal mechanic is the main reason why, before Wesker, Ghostface was easily the killer I hated most in DBD, and every match against him was miserable.
Because Ghostface's main counterplay is the reveal mechanic. That is how it is supposed to work. You either remain stealthy, approach unseen and mark a survivor, or they see you and reveal you. That is fair in theory.
But in reality the reveal mechanic simply doesn't work most of the time, regardless of angle or time spent looking at him.

Okay, you guys talk about the difficulty of revealing him, but what I see happening most when other people play with him is you being revealed even though you're behind a wall or object. This happens quite often and it's also quite frustrating for the player. Are you going to complain about this too?
2 -
Sure, if they can fix it for the killer side as well they should.
I'm saying it from a survivor perspective because I don't play Ghostface, at all. I basically don't play any killer other than Freddy.

They should play as Ghostface so they know his weaknesses and learn how to play against him. I used to be afraid of Leatherfaces, but when I tried them and realized how easy it is to run into things, I learned how to counter them. I play Ghostface often and I know how easy it is to reveal him. In fact, the last one I played against got disconnected.

Yup. You can effectively entirely disarm ghostie just by having one person follow him around. Then he's just a powerless m1 killer. However, I love playing him because to succeed, you have to be a master of mindgames.
