I know this has probably been asked thousands of times, but now with the official cancellation and removal of sale for Evil Dead : The Game, how possible is it to get young Ash in Dead by Daylight? Specifically Evil Dead 2 & Army Of Darkness. I know the licensing is tricky but I feel like they’d be more than happy to have Ash live on.

I love ash and his model we got atm from ash vs evil looks ok, i'd say its kinda dated but still fine but please take my money and get the evil dead license i want young ash!! 😭

Every version of Young Ash falls under different licenses than the one we have in the game, so don't count on it.

No, they specifically have the license for the TV show, which is old Ash.
Evil Dead's rights are split up all over the place. Even the TV show couldn't get the rights to reference Army of Darkness, for example. They had to refer to it with implication rather than directly talking about it or showing footage from it.
The game got around this by getting the rights to all Evil Dead properties, so they could do whatever they wanted.

they actually combined all the copyright holdings into one thing besides army of darkness so everything else is up for grabs if bhvr is down i guess.
so yes a young ash is very possible if bhvr teams up with studiocanal.

bhvr already have a relationship with Studiocanal, who do you think they got the Terminator license from for Deathgarden?
Regardless, it would still require a re-negotiation of their current licensed contract, before they can actually use anything from the other installments. Even then, it's not a guarantee that a re-negotiation will happen and that we'll still only get content tied to Ash vs Evil Dead.
