Tought of a new pipping system.
Just a thought: wouldn’t it make more sense if pipping was based on bloodpoints instead of how well you hit certain categories?
Sometimes you 4K super fast and still don’t get a pip, which just feels off. What if it was more like a progress bar based on base bloodpoints only (no bonuses or offerings), and you need a certain amount to earn a pip?
Like, Ash IV could need 50k BP per pip, and the higher your rank, the more BP you need, so Iridescent might need like 80k or 100k. That way, you’re always progressing even if the match wasn’t perfect.
Could even make it fun for events:
Have a special weekend where offerings DO count toward that progress, it would give people a reason to use all their anniversary cakes, Bloody Party Streamers, etc. It’d be a cool way to hype up the grind while still rewarding actual play.
Just feels like a fairer and more motivating system overall.
