Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Game is becoming unplayable on the killer side

With all the generator perks such as hyperfocus and stakeout being so potent there really isn't much to do against certain loadouts aside from slugging. Survivors are unchecked by comparison to killers. Killers have received massive nerfs with no comparable such nerf to survivor known OP perks.

Killers are getting buffs via last 3 years, huge buffs. Overall killer role as well as particular killers. Maybe you can share some examples so it's more clear where's the problem coming from?

I'll stick to gens as you mentioned gens, in last two years gens got those changes:

→ Take 10s longer than they used to (80s→90s)

→ Damaging generator cause immidiate progress loss (0 % → 5 %) 40 % max by only kicks per gen

→ Generator needs minimum repair to stop the regression (previously survivors tapped gens mid chase)

→ Gens can take 8 regression events (exceptions are perk that don't give away immidiate progress - ruin, oppression…)

→ Multiple slowdown perks been added over last years, us og killers had ruin and pop and that was it. Now we have corrupt, pain res, by me so hated dms, grim, surge, eruption, call of brine, pentimento…

→ In recent patch spawn logic was changed, meaning that early gen or gens will be faster but overall spread of progress between particular gens will be much smaller and survivor are more likely to 3-gen themselves = best late game killer scenario
