Allow disconnected survivors to rejoin the game.
I think it would be great if survivors who lost connection to the match could rejoin, taking the place of the bot that took their place when they disconnected. Here's how it would work:
The survivor lost connection to the match, thus having a bot take over. During this period, the survivor who lost connection won't have a penalty yet, but cannot queue up for another match, instead, they are given the option to rejoin the match they lost connection from. If they hit this, once they load in, they will begin to briefly spectate the bot that took their place, and be given a 5 second countdown before they take the bot's place. The countdown before they take control is so they are given time to prepare, should the bot currently be in a chase. Rejoining a match you disconnected from will prevent you from getting a disconnect penalty, however you will not get any points for things that the bot did while you were gone, but you will get points for the things you did before leaving, and after rejoining. If the game ends without the player rejoining, then they will be given the penalty.
Leaving the game by hitting the leave match button on the pause screen, or hitting alt + f4 and selecting yes when the game asks if you want to close the game, will not allow you to rejoin, and will give you a disconnect penalty immediately. This is because, the disconnect was clearly intentional in that case.
