Add a Replay System Like Fortnite – Save Matches, Watch From Any Angle

Hey BHVR team & fellow players,

I’d love to suggest a Replay System for Dead by Daylight, similar to what Fortnite uses. It would let players:

• Rewatch recent matches from their own POV or others’

  • View from the Killer’s or Survivors’ perspective
  • Use a free camera to study plays or capture cinematic content
  • Save matches to keep them for reports, clips, or learning


This would be an amazing feature for:

• Learning (understanding jukes, misplays, Killer pathing)

  • Content creators (creating highlight reels, lore content)
  • Reporting (showing proof of griefing or exploits)
  • Esports or tournaments (match reviews, analysis)

Games like Fortnite, VALORANT, and Overwatch 2 all have similar systems. I understand it’s a technical challenge with DBD’s asymmetric setup — but it would be a huge step forward for both casual players and the competitive scene. Hope this is something the team can consider for a future update or long-term roadmap!

    Devs already said that it's impossible to implement since it should be coded from the start
