Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Survive With Friends identifier system

BHVR, you need to introduce a way for Killers to see if players are in a SWF, through either making a new icon indicating their party count or by changing the color of their names. This has no downside whatsoever, if Killer doesn't want to play against a SWF, they get to wait for another match. There are some players who want to play against SWF to challenge themselves.

I understand the frustration with facing SWFs, but giving killers the ability to see and dodge them in the lobby sets a rough precedent. Lobby dodging already messes with MMR, backfill and queue times. encouraging more of it would only make things worse for everyone.

If we opened that door, survivors could just as easily argue they should see which killer they’re facing ahead of time, which would likely lead to even more dodging. The logic doesn’t scale well across both roles. At the end of the day, matchmaking needs work (which i believe is on the road map for adjustments) , but creating more ways to dodge games isn't the solution.

Tbf I'm not entirely sure if that's their priority anymore given the FNAF patch.

to be honest, the game should have two queues, a solo one where you can only play solo and a swf one where you play in duo/trio/full team

before match no, but after the match I genuinely dont see a single valid reason not to.

people should know why they lost and if coordinated plays had to do anything with that.

As others have said, doing this would lead to mass lobby dodging and shopping around, which further damages the matchmaking system. Queue times would also soar because about half of all survs globally are in at least a two-man SWF.

Yeah lets have killer even more of cherry picking their lobbies for no reason.

While I don't think I'd be opposed to showing it on the end screen, it would be more enlightening for people who think they're against "the comp SWF" every match to see that they're actually just against non grouped survivors who know the game.

people should know why they lost and if coordinated plays had to do anything with that.

If there's one thing that killers need most in 2025 it's to examine their own gameplay. People do not need another scapegoat to excuse that they're taking 4 minutes to close out their first chase, yet blaming everything else other than things entirely within their control (build, priority, game sense, game knowledge, and which tools to use and when are the biggest ones people seem to struggle with).

I'm talking with go next prevention. It was really harmful to the queue. Granted they did roll it back, but they generally shut that sort of stuff down early, before it goes live, if it's going to impact the queue that strongly. At least as long as I've been playing.

"this has no downside" it absolutely does.
No one wants to play against a coordinated team bc of how oppressive they might be.
It will also be another incentive to tunnel someone out because of that and it's just unhealthy.
And for people who want two queues, fine, then give anti tunnel and all that ######### basekit because you can be sure your teammates are gonna struggle and/or unwilling to take hits for the tunneled survivor.
This idea is unserious, come on now.

I made a post its on my profile that would help with that, matter of fact it would be a refreshing update and way of playing the game againts said players.

But the post is also about how it would tackle the problem with people that only play ability killers and stack perks and punish the people that get stuck in the MMR system selection
