Framerate and dedicated servers

Here's a few questions maybe someone can answer. Why is it the game when playing online runs choppier and has a lower frame rate unlike the tutorial on console? My first thought is that it has to do with console connecting 5 different players into the same game. And does anyone think or can even guess if having dedicated servers will improve framrate and the overall feel of the game?

No, that's just general game optimization being poor in the game on console. Dedicated servers only help make the connections between everyone more consistent and less dependent on the connection of the killer. It'll help connectivity, not optimization (so your frames). That's up to BHVR to optimize it, which they've been not doing for whatever reason

The game will have lower FPS in actual online games compared to the tutorial as the tutorial doesn't have as much going on, it's just a few little stages, while online is a whole map with stuff going off every ten seconds, etc etc. Also dedicated servers won't change the actual FPS lag but will fix connection issues which is great!
