BHVR really needs to revamp chase mechanics

In a lot of places, chase can feel extremely buggy. Experienced survivors even know how to exploit these mechanics by breaking line of sight as much as possible and walking. However, it does not feel very fair playing as killer when you are clearly chasing someone with intent and following their scratch marks, yet the chase just refuses to start or ends prematurely.
So I would suggest these changes to the chase detection:
- Extend the chase qualifying range from 12m to 16m.
- Introduce a chase point system (similar to afk points). It is default 0 when not in chase, maxes out at 100.
- Chasing a survivor (as currently implemented) adds a large amount of points every second.
- When outside the chase range, survivor is walking, or killer is standing still, the chase points decay.
- When the survivor who was chased is within 5m of the killer, chase points will NOT decay, regardless of any of the above qualifiers.
- While the killer is on top of the survivor's scratch marks and following them, they still slowly accumulate chase points, even if the distance is more than 16m and there is no line of sight.
- Upon reaching 50 points, the survivor is considered to be in chase even without line of sight, or while walking, or greater than 16m away.
- After falling to 25 points or below while in chase, the chase is considered to be dropped.
- A new survivor target for chasing can be acquired if the first survivor is much further away and there is no line of sight, and the new survivor has accumulated many more points, or is flagged as being in chase with the current system.
