Increase Pig's Ambush speed to 8m/s from 6.9m/s
Most modern Killers with dash abilities don't go below this number, The Pig kinda struggles on mid loops, I think boosting her speed would be quite a good change!

Pig is tricky to balance in this regard, because of the macro control provided by her RBTs; her ambush strength must correlate with the potential snowball value her traps provide.
If you make her ambush much faster, she basically becomes Chucky with a massive built in slowdown (8m/s is literally Chucky's dash right now).
So I'd be very reluctant to buff her this way. I feel her big problem is how reliant she is on that first chase going well... What she needs help with to my mind is getting her first trap out... once it is out, she is fine. As such, a buff to her ambush would do that by helping her first chase, but then it overtunes her once she has a trap out and she gets exponentially more chances to snowball...
As an example alternative (and I wouldn't suggest this because it'd be free value that was unearned, this is more to labour the point), if she spawned with 1 survivor trapped at the start of the trial and had say ruleset number 2 basekit, Pig would quite a lot stronger...

Hmm, I think you're right, I feel like the Pig could use some buffs tho to her ambush, I just don't know what would be the best buffs to be honest.

Aye, it's tough, the issue is her ambush is pretty good, to the point most survivors wouldn't really want to challenge a good Pig on her ambush at tiles... so instead survivors who know what they're doing tend to just throw pallet and leave the tile to stop you using your ambush.
My favourite add-on combo is JMF and Worksop Grease for that reason, cause both add-ons really help you mitigate how much distance you lose if the survivors leaves tile, and in the case of JMF especially, because of the acceleration times you can crouch/stand up to bait a survivor to leave and fool them into zoning themselves for a hit.
This combo also let's you crouch just to see what the survivor does to react, so you can get a measure for the survivors behaviour without losing too much pace off the chase... which really helps getting a hit...
For ambush changes this is probably the direction I'd lean personally... 🤔

Sadly with such a big buff to ambush, her traps would need big nerf as they are by far the strongest slowdown in the game. Pig being not as strong in chase is compensated by people getting secondary objectives - searching itself takes 2.5mins per 4 traps + time spent running between boxes, that's value of 2,5 extra gen time worth.
Edit: I think though that giving her Last Will add on and Workshop grease add on basekit would be nice and the land covered would make difference between getting tip hits and not getting hits.

Maybe she could get a buff to ambush as long as she has max traps in her inventory?
This would make her a lot more viable before she gets her traps down.
This could also improve Amanda's letter, which is already lacking due to the slowdown being halfed.
Mandy is motivated to get the game started, therefore her senses are heightened and her ambush is stronger.

There is currently a bug with The Pig's traps that many Pig mains may not know about, since we don't SEE it… They should IMO fix this bug, or maybe keep it as a compensation for the increased ambush speed?

I personally find turning Pig into another dash slop killer to be not my cup of tea. Her Traps is what truly made her unique upon her debut in 2018, and paved the way for those side quests Survivors had to go on to remove status ailments, etc. As it is now, the focus is primarily on her Ambush makes her a lower dash killer with a mediocre RBT ability. It adds pressure, but not enough to really be considered a major threat.
Her ability to come out with a w REALLY relies heavily on the player making the right choices in the match, and no, not talking about camping or tunneling to secure a win since that’s just an ez button for literally any killer to make up for the lack of a solid basekit. I feel like her traps should be respectably and reasonably adjusted.

I feel like she could use a little endgame boost, unless a Survivor has a Trap on their head, the RBTs are pretty much just for bloodpoints at that point.
But at the same time, that could cause issues due to the egc timer…
I'm not sure how the traps could be buffed without them feeling overtuned, especially in lower mmrs since that's where Pig gets her high kill rate.

Imagine downvoting a good idea that could make a killer viable again — one you haven't seen in years. This community is so sad. Anytime you suggest killer-side changes, you can be sure casual low-MMR players who don’t even understand the mechanics of the game they play will jump on you. Whatever.

The dash isn't bad by any means after the most recent buffs she received.
It might be way too much for low mmr, but I would love if the timer was halved but there was one or two additional boxes to search (you would still only need to search a maximum of 4 boxes). Of course, tweaks to addons might be necessary but I would love this part of her kit to be even more chaotic and threatening.

I'd sooner see the stealth itself buffed, over the dash part— for the reasons already gone over in this thread.
If nothing else, I don't see why Pig shouldn't be allowed to move at full speed while she's crouched, considering she can't attack without standing up or charging her ambush. That'd help her sneak up on survivors, which in the early parts of the game would help her get the ball rolling for her excellent trap pressure a bit easier.

Partial JMF is my guess, 4.0 m/s would be pretty sick... also curious what this dash distance will be... Workshop Grease will become even more valuable.
And her crouch/stand up will be getting better too if the speed is getting lowered... the mind games at tiles are gonna be a lot better.
Need to not get too giddy ofc... all these changes to improve chase can exponentially increase her lethality/snowball power of her RBTs... this PTB is gonna be very important for Pig I feel, and we need to be very objective and not get carried away (we don't wanna get Nerf Nuked a couple of weeks after the PTB). 😶
Scream builds especially might need to be looked at, since the better chase means more freedom.for things like Crate of Gears and Tampered Timer, and a more lethal chase combined with Infectious Fright and Phantom Fear might be a bit much...

Amazing! I honestly only play pig with two dash addons, because it makes her by a mile more fun for me, so I hope this buff will allow me to use something else finally. Big W

Same I am very pleased with these changes, I have never touched her other addons because its way more fun to be a speedy pig.
