Why did the Cypress Memento Mori get Retired?

There was three different Memento Moris in the game, Cypress, Ivory and Ebony (in that order) but why did the CMM get turned off/taken away? I used to have A LOT of Mementos of all rarities on my Prestige 10 Knight, but now I don't have any Cypress MMs because they got retired, i still have over 100 Screech Cobblers though, but does anyone know why the Cypress Memento Mori is retired?

    The mori system was re-worked a little bit ago, you can always mori the last person in the trial now so the mori was retired. It was also changed somewhat recently that if one person is on hook/dying and you down the other survivor you can mori them without waiting (if there's only two survivors left).

    Because they added the ability for killers to kill the last survivor by their hand (just took the function of cypress and made it base kit).
