Random 5min Matchmaking Ban after not playing for a few days

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE:
Logged in for the first time in a couple of days, clicked Play to queue up, suddenly got a 5 min matchmaking ban.
There was a weird stutter after clicking Play, so guessing something weird happened there.

You now get your matchmaking bans applied when readying up for a match instead of the moment that you disconnect. So even waiting a day or so after you've reached the threshold, you will receive a penalty.
