Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

9.1.0 Clown Changes just make him objectively worse, almost unplayably bad

Besides the reload changes, I am 99% sure these changes to clown just make him objectively worse

- To start off, the clown number tweeks to the bottle are quite absurd. Changing the haste to 10>12, and the hinder from 15>12 simply makes clown lose a net 1% difference between the survivor, and only if you are hasted and the survivor is slowed. Unless they were intending to nerf an already below average killer balance wise, this just doesn't make any sense. Clown was simply better off just using the sticky soda bottle add on pre patch (which they nerfed)

- The invigoration size buffs genuinely make him worse. Before 9.1, you could pre throw your yellow near the survivor or near a pallet and safely collect the haste. Now, the gas is SO big, it leaks through every loop having survivors collecting it. The hitbox looks smaller than it really is as well. This is definitely the most annoying part of the change, and probably going to be the one talked about most on youtube.

- By far the worst change, is reducing the time the hinder actually lingers onto the survivor. This was reduced from 2>1. To put this into perspective, you used to be able to slow survivors down by 15% (19% with the addon they just nerfed) for however long they were in the cloud, + 2 more seconds. Now, its 12% for an additional 1 second. This is a HUGE deal in literally any loop with space. It almost felt like the survivors werent getting slowed at all in the matches ive played. An extra 1 second of speed is HUGE at every single loop. I added an image to show this exact scenario that happens in nearly every chase.

If the killer chases the survivor around a pallet like this, there really isn't a viable way to hit them before they drop the pallet. To make things more frustrating, they can sometimes pick up the haste just before reaching pallet, or it sometimes even leaks through the loop as I mentioned.

I understand where the devs intention with this change. Giving incentive to use yellow bottles more is perfectly fine, but nerfing his overall kit was not the way to go IMO.
