KB/M update hype!!!
This update has shown quite abit...but they all pale in comparison to the console KB/M support to me. Theres so many killers that have been on the back burner for me since I can't play them NEARLY as well on controller as I did on KB/M back in the day.
I even got a little lap cushion thing in anticipation for this...
Anyways... just super excited about getting to use the stuff I bought. Thought BHVR would make me wait til Christmas.

now I'm tempted to make you wait until Christmas :) (just kidding)
I'm looking for this to be out so much, it's one of the things that has been on my list for the past couple of years so I'm super glad we in the position where we can offer this now.

Any news on proper controller settings for people who don't have/don't want to use KB&M?

What controller setting are you missing that you'd want?

Aim assist, aim smoothing, individual stick sensitivities, dead zone adjustments, etc etc

Things like aim assist is something that would be HIGHLY argued against. Ppl dont want to go against a killer that just never misses a M2. As far as stick sensitivity goes, im pretty sure "camera sensitivity" already affects only the right stick. I dont see how they'd effect the left stick since thats just killer movement speed. Maybe im overlooking something there.
Dead zone adjustment... is that a thing other games have found a fix for? Thought that was just a flaw of the hardware itself.

Yeah, just go into OW2's controller settings.
Modern games have modern settings.

ONE OF US.
ONE OF US.
ONE OF US.

Isn't that just affecting aim during ADS? I could see that being nice for killers like Deathslinger or Huntress, but something like Xeno wouldn't be effected. WOULD be a pretty sweet change so you can quickly turn for normal movement while still having more precise control while the hatchet is up.

I think the main problem with aim assist in a game like this is that it's (at least in some part) a game that's about hiding & finding people. If you introduced aim assist, suddenly you introduce scenarios where controller killers could find people just because their camera got dragged to some person trying to actively hide from them. That's not something I think the devs would like to introduce, not to mention the struggles of programming & implementing the feature in the first place.
But yes, as Pulsar showed most modern games (shooters especially) have a lot of controller settings to adjust that make sticks much more precise than the average long time MnK user that hasn't really played a modern shooter on controller is aware of. Even just a stick deadzone setting would expand controller's capabilities drastically, as it would give controller a wider (and thus smoother) range of camera motion control. I feel it's not too much to ask for considering they managed to put that and response curve settings in Meet Your Maker with little issue, though I don't know all of the hurdles they'd have to go through to implement the feature.
I do really appreciate that MnK support is finally coming though. I hope it's smooth sailing on release.
