We need a better queue system
I'm a Killer main. As least, I was, in the before-time, the long-long-ago, when Killer queue times were almost always instant.
Now, I barely play Killer, because it takes me FOREVER to get a match.
I wish I could queue for BOTH, so I can play Surv, while I'm waiting for an open Killer spot.
Please take a look at how other games do this, like Killer Klowns for example.
I don't want to just alt-tab while I'm queueing for Killer, as my time to actually play games is limited. I want to be playing games, not twiddling my thumbs in a queue.
Please consider.

They are planning of adding to the next 2v8 mode but it would not be bad to be in normal queue too.

would be nice to have a token system where you can play a bunch of surv games to get high priority queue on killer

I think frankly the issue is that MMR is a bit too strict, and the fact is Survivors feel like they can't have fun in games. I don't see it, I do fine both sides, but as I understand it people feel Survivor has been hard nerfed (despite getting a pretty unneeded healing buff) but Killer has been hard buffed (when really Killers just got a bunch of much needed QoL.

You do realize that this queues happen due to one side having much more players than the other side, right? So you basically would need to nerf killers and/or buff survivors to equal out the player distribution into faster killer queues. survivor is basically instant cause the distribution heavily sides towards killer. Ask yourself why.

Precisely. Not only have we had two new killers back to back, but the event mode itself is quite killer sided. AND THEN, camping and tunneling are highly prevalent and once the killer has bullied one person out of the game, they are pretty much guaranteed to win and the survivors are guaranteed to have a miserable match. I do queue up with other survivor friends these days, but unfortunately their tolerance for DBD is very limited and they can only handle so much of this unfair and unfun playstyle before they decide they'd rather just play a different game that feels much more fun to them.

True, killer players are ruthless in mid-high mmr, all of them very sweaty and super campy with giga strong builds like money on the line, they can't just chill especially in new event mode, and they are already complaining about new Franklins, Michonnes perks and upcoming changes to Clown/Knight, only killers can bring broken addons but survivers can't use items thanks to franklins? Sounds unfair😭

To be fair Survivor teams at that level play the same very sweaty, very gen-pushy way too. They can't "just chill" either. Everyone at that level sweats.

play while you wait shouldn’t just come to the next 2v8 it should come to the regular default mode as well.

And this is precisely why I quit the game about 2 years ago. Buffing killers with 60% kill rate in mind (and even this is not enough here in forum for quite a number of people = killer must be power role and survivors are here to suffer) instead of fair 50% on one side, while ruining fun things survivors can do (first it was my fun with sabotages being no longer viable given new hook density - not it's also flashlight saves being way harder with new angles).
I would not mind one of those nerfs or the other. But in my games I need either my competitive self being satisfied (50% kill rate) or my goof around part being satisfied (being able to sabotage save someone even if it means loosing the game).
I got robbed of both. So now my only interaction with the game is occasional visit to this forum/watching some streamers while waiting in queue of different games.

Yeah, I would definetly like such a system that is planned with 2v8 for every mode.
Like I am fully fine in playing 1-2 games on survivors before I get to play killer, definetly better than waiting without doing anything…1
