If Unbound applying to Killer power vaults is a "bug", then Bamboozle shouldn't either.
Pretty self-explanatory. On the PTB, Unbound applying to Killer power vaults is listed as a "fixed bug", even though this makes zero sense because Bamboozle has also applied to Killer power vaults for a long time now and the wording between the perks is basically the same. If Unbound is getting nerfed so it no longer works with Kaneki, Wesker, Legion, etc. then, by this logic, so should Bamboozle.

Bamboozle's faster vaulting effect does not apply to killer power vaults and the devs equate haste on vaulting with the speedboost from bamboozle, not its blocking effect, in this regard it is consistent.

True Wraith players are annoying with it when they zoom windows

I mean, not really…
I understand they don't want Bamboozle to change special vault animations, but Unbound happens after the vault. The trigger is vault action, which would be same as window blocking. It's not really consistent, they just choose what they don't want to work.
and you bet Bamboozle blocking removal from special vaults would have way bigger backlash. Unbound is not that popular.

Wraith is not special vault tho…
Special vaults are Kaneki, Legion, Wesker, Chucky. I don't think Vecna and Dracula counts for any of those.

The animation being sped up is probably not the reason. It's more likely the reason they have applied such a restriction to bamboozle is that killer power vaults are specifically balanced with their intended speeds in mind and by allowing those speeds to change with perks means the killer's default power vault speed and the perk itself has to be set with the fact that it can be sped up in mind. In a similar manner, applying haste to a killer for performing a power vault action could drastically affect the saftey of many loops against that killer.
If the devs allow this they are then put in a position wherre they have to choose which set of killers the perk will be bad or unusable on. Either they allow it to work with powered vaults, set the values for the perk and the killer's default power values with this possibility in mind, and the perk is a usable perk for the killers that can use this synergy and is terrible on everyone else, or they don't allow this synergy and set the perk's values knowing that only your standard vaults will trigger it and can use higher values for the perk, letting it be usable one every killer knowing that it won't be a possibility its completely busted when the ghoul (or similar) jumps over a window with it.
I'd much rather they buff the values of this perk and make it actually good without needing specific power synergies than rely on power synergy to make it usable.

There's nothing wrong with perks stacking with a Killer's power as long as it doesn't create some super unhealthy meta or something.

Bamboozle hasn't stacked haste with killer powers since Wesker was released, which was August 2022.

Just popping back in here to clarify, I never meant the faster vaulting aspect of Bamboozle, I meant the window blocking aspect that absolutely functions with power vaults on Kaneki, Wesker, etc.

BHVR's problem with Unbound was that the HASTE EFFECT (faster walking speed) triggered off of power vaults. BHVR's problem with Bamboozle was that the HASTE EFFECT (faster vaulting speed) triggered off of power vaults.
This is consistent.

I'm torn on this, because while I agree Ghoul should not be allowed to use Bamboozle this way, other killers like Legion don't deserve the nerf at all. It might be a better approach to just nerf Ghoul's special vault directly (or even just remove it).

I'd be okay if this nerf goes through but buffs the base percentage back to 10 percent, that would be nice for m1 killers

lol I don't think you know what haste means dude, you can't just call any faster interaction "haste"
Haste specifically refers to the status effect that grants bonus movement speed, literally nowhere else in-game are faster interactions referred to as haste. Not even mentioning faster vaulting speed and faster movement speed are two entirely different effects that affect entirely different archetypes of Killers.
chase Killers, typically, don't really benefit much from haste because their power is typically strong enough to not need it. whilst M1 Killers benefit greatly from haste because of their poor ability to close the gap. subsequently, faster vaulting speed doesn't really help M1 Killers because they still have to actually catch up to the Survivor after the vault with no chase power, whereas someone like Wesker or Kaneki who already have fast vaults and strong chase powers would be able to close that gap easily.
so if anything, it makes more sense to remove Bamboozle's interaction from power vaults entirely including the window block because it severely disproportionately benefits Killers with already strong chase potential, essentially eliminating most of the input that Survivor would've had in chase. plus this way we still retain the benefits that Killers without some kind of scamper ability would have from vaulting a window normally with Bamboozle without nerfing the perk's numbers.

BHVR literally said the bug with Bamboozle only involved the vaulting speed increase.
Therefore, Bamboozle was a "fixed bug", because BHVR fixed the bug involving the vaulting speed increase.

Iirc, the reason why Bamboozle/other vault perks got changed to not affect 'Power' vaults was for consistency reasons.
It broke their animations/made them too fast in some instances. Myers had a similar bug too I think.
They intentionally created a distinction between 'regular' vaults and 'power' vaults. Unbound is based on 'regular' vaults, therefore it's only supposed to trigger from those. This helps them make vault perks without worrying about breaking Killer powers.
