Where are the new realms?

I recently just thought about how we have been playing on the same realms over and over again which is obviously going to happen but then I realized that the last realm was nostromo and that came out 2 YEARS AGO! And it wasn’t even a good one too 🤦‍♂️ but when the unkown released his map looked like a new realm but technically it isn’t so I won’t count it. Then when fnaf came the actual pizzaria was just a small portion of the map and had like 5 loops and all but one was basically just ring around the Rosie which was a problem with the main loop on nostromo. It was boring, and that’s why jungle Jim’s and shack are so fun to loop. And now that TWD is in dbd you would expect a cool new realm with zombies all around but there’s still no realm but just another garden of joy map and it’s barley a new map but atleast it’s kinda unique though. The maps are start to get stale over the years especially when your playing against the same killers over and over again. (Springtrap, the goul, xenomorph, and blight at least for me)

    …Now that I think about it I actually haven't even seen Springtrap's map since the showcase ended. Did they forget to put it into the regular rotation?

    It's there, but the odds are smaller.

    Similarly to how Ormond Lake Mine was, except this one will stay like that.

    If you're not counting Greenville as a new realm, you shouldn't count Nostromo either, it's part of Dvarka Deepwood.

    You should also know that The Walking Dead won't actually have a new map- They added the map only for testing purposes in the PTB. The unique "don't dead open inside" tile in that map is going to be a random addition to Greenville maps.

    I think the reason for this is that BHVR want to minimise the number of single map Realms in the game, and so have been working on bulking some ones like Ormond up with an additional map. And they also seem to really like using Withered Isle as their dumping ground for all urban maps, for whatever reason.

    For the record, we do have a Realm on the year 10 roadmap, it'll come in March next year with an original Survivor chapter.
