Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Twisted masquerade is kinda killer sided

whether you find killer matches harder or not you have to agree that this event is killer sided I mean survivors have these weak pallets that easily get countered by the enduring that you can get from the invintations and this remote pallet break turns and interesting loop that you really need to use your brain for into a 🤖 “initiate remote pallet break and get rid of any 50/50 or make the survivor w key into a dead zone.”

this is coming from my experience as killer but the window blocker is actually more over powered than I thought

Yeah used correctly in shack or a main building it puts me back so far in a chase.

I do agree that the entire event still favors killers a bit though. Remote hooks are amazing for Scourge Hooks, which sometimes end up screwing me over in main matches.

I agree about the window blocker, but the way the mechanic works is so awkward that it's easy to spawn a pallet or stealth instead. It requires really precise timing in a chase depending on where you do it. And of course very map/Killer dependent.

I have yet to have Heal/Expose actually benefit me.

The closest it’s come is popping me up right on top of a killer about to pick me up. With no warning I didn’t have any time to react and was just downed again. I’ve had it screw me over in chase a few times, as well as become exposed on hook which I find a bit funny. The rest of the time it’s just inconvenient and paranoia inducing because I’m already healthy and would like to not go down in one hit.

Party pallets are mostly useful for the blood point bonus when you create them. I’ve seen stuns work a couple of times but otherwise it seems most killers know to not faceplant into them. It would be one thing if they were actual pallets but it seems unbalanced but fun mechanics are only for killers on limited time anniversary events.

You have to be very careful with your timing on the window blocker if you "aim" it ahead of you. It 'resets' your momentum for a vault. If you use it far enough back that you'd get a fast vault if you started running from that spot from a dead stop, you get the fast vault. Any closer, and you get a medium vault, even if you've been running in a straight line at full sprint to the window for a good distance. Woe betide if you use it just as you hit the window… then you're stuck, and can't vault for a second.
