Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Let's explain how mmr work, this is by far not precious for DBD.

    No MMR - 0-50 points

    Low MMR - 50 - 200 points

    Mid MMR - 200 - 500 points

    High MMR - 500 - 800 points

Survivor get points for each escape and lose one point per each death.

Killer gets point for each kill and loses points for each escape.

    Example:

You are killer with 720 points and your aveeage killrate is 50 % = your MMR doesn't go down neither up.

You are survivor with 700 who dies 2 of 4 games. Meaning that you lose about 2 points per 4 games, 100 points per 200 games, meaning that to go lower MMR you need to lose 200 consecutive games to leave top mmr but once you win you go back to max MMR.

Conclusion: To lower your MMR you would need to purposely lose hundreds games which is just dumb. Why would you ever do that?
