QOL ideas for the game and player health
Hi! Im KleE new to the forum and playing dbd on and off for some years now. Mostly survivor at the moment because for me it is the harder role. Im mostly playing soloq... dont have many friends playing dbd.
Still i enjoy the game, some chill rounds after work or on the weekends are always a nice thing. So i thought about some ideas for a while now that could lead to a better overall experience for the survivor bloodpoint earnings. The survivor side is the team side of the game yet you still feel like you are all alone in the fog.
So my ideas are to make the game feel a little more like a team when earning points.
- When a generator gets completed every single survivor should get completion points. Doesnt have to be that much but when you are the survivor who loops the killer for lets say 2 gens you still feel rewarded by the actions of your team.
- Same goes for totems. If a survivor clears a totem everyone should get bloodpoints aswell.
Now to another part that i think is always a tough decision. Do i save the hooked survivor in endgame or do i just leave for the escape points? Often im going to try and help but that means im dying fairly often and the other survivor now gets the escape. It would be a cool thing if survivors would not get escape points individual anymore but as a team. For every escape everyone gets lets say 2k bloodpoints so in total 8k if all escape.
You could even take that to the extreme and give no points individual anymore but everything is now shared. At the moment you can get 10k bloodpoints in each category and you contribute to it by your actions but you could higher it to 40k bloodpoints in every category and now the whole team contributes to it. In the end it gets evenly split by 4 ofcourse.
One more small idea that would be nice to have is an honor system. You can give props after the game but im not really sure if that does something. So after the game i would like to honor another player maybe even the Killer if i think it was fun going against him. After so and so many honors received it would be cool to get a batch or something similiar that simply says "honorable player".
What you guys think about this aspect of the game?
Thank you for reading all that and have a nice one!
