A new system I'd suggest for solo queue players and killers
Solo queue system:
Solo queue players can de-prioritize certain killers from their queues. Maybe 2 or 3 killers they can reduce their chances of playing against. This does not include new content (killers) released to the game. It also doesn't mean they will never see those killers. If solo queue can de-prioritize themselves from facing nurses, blights, or other killers they find frustrating (ghoul) this may help relieve some of the tensions.
Killer queue system:
Killers have two options with maps. They can choose 1 map to completely remove from the line-up. Or they can choose 1 map that will be guaranteed to be in the lineup in 1 of every 3 matches they play (or something along those lines).
Further, this system isn't available if you've disconnected in one of your last 5 matches. Also, you get a small but significant bloodpoint boost if you opt out of using the system. This bloodpoint boost does not work if you've recently disconnected in one of your past games.
These systems could be good not just for players, but also for BHVR who will receive valuable information on what killers probably need to be changed, and what maps players enjoy playing on or want to avoid thus you can try changing those killers and maps to reduce dodge rates.
Thank you for reading.

That’s going to cause queue problems for the less popular Killers. For overturned Killers , I think that’s a small price to pay, but it’s a bit unfair for players who want to play mid or lower tier Killers who people just don’t playing against like Clown, Knight, Legion and Skull Merchant. Playing Skull Merchant in her current state is punishment enough lol
That said, I do really like the idea on paper.1 -
I would really really love that system as would many but many will say including me that this will be the death of queue times and playerbase will split making you search for games really long.

it doesn't have to affect queue times at all. it really just depends on how aggressive you choose to make the system and knowing bhvr they'd make the system as least aggressive and cumbersome as possible.

The current system in place puts all players in same boat and only having mmr as a difference to not match higher mmr with lower mmr but thats about it.
I do want them to add something

So we got finally rid of map offerings, just to make it basekit? Yeah, I would rather not.

NO, people need to STOP thinking up and suggesting ways to manipulate matchmaking for their own benefit(while destroying queue times). If you don't want to play the match you're given for whatever reason then simply leave the game.

Yeah and end up searching for 15mins for a new match lol good job.
The entire MMR matchmaking is rigged and absolutely broken it doesnt account for players with experience + players playing with friends.
I honestly think its not even maps fault as much as matchmaking balance.
Matching new players that had couple of good games back to back with high playtime users?
Where is the logic and fairness in that

Purposely choosing advantageous maps is an issue, but letting people effectively 'soft ban' killers is so so so sooo much worse of an idea its insane and i dunno why people keep suggesting it, other than again, seeking advantages and introduces a whole host of issues with it.
As for MMR, well unfortunately people want faster and decent matching times (fair tbh) so it has to come at the cost of widening the MMR search parameters the longer someone is searching (mostly killer as survivor queues are quick). We'll have to wait and see what BHVR have planned for MMR changes, but there isnt really an easy "fix" apart from making people wait longer for a better matched game (if thats really possible with the disparity between general survivor skill levels and killer skill levels). But also consider this isnt a competitive game (in the sense that its not ranked not that its PvP), and that strict matching isnt wholly necessary all of the time.
There's too many variables to account for to really aim for constant "fair and equal matches" all the time imo.

I agree, i think map offerings should stay rng to make it fair, mmr wise i hope they have something in plan for the entire system since they did reveal its coming

Okay, survivors can reduce killers, but then killers should be able to reduce swf

Killer queue times already are long. With around half of all survs globally in some form of SWF (duos mostly) this suggestion would make those queues even worse.

I'm not sure what 'small but significant' means or why only Killer gets the BP and not Survivor.
