I also gave suggestions the other day for just QoL stuff and not balance like having a toggle to search for gens or parts of the map cause that back and forth up and down camera movement to get SNug where you want him to go is awkward and sometimes flops and it's SO annoying.
Add BP score to instances when Snug injures a survivor vaulting and add a timeout for Snug when he gets stuck like a movement detection stuff that just makes him teleport back immediately.
I like some of your addons but the double redirect is a bit too strong or useless because Snug goes so far.
The auto pallet break should be an iridescent if anything. It's very powerful. That makes her power almost uncounterable at pallets.1 -

She makes my game crash and I don't mean that in a voluntary way. It asks to send the report but there isn't even an option to click and send.

Yeah, I was really hoping there would have been a hotfix out for her, or at the very least seen her in the patch notes following the PTB but sadly no fixes. Its really frustrating. That's why I had mentioned just KillSwitch her until you fix her or plan out a hotfix to iron out the issues.

Then you are more than welcome to post those concerns in that thread, by all means. That's why its there. For anyone who wants to disagree or agree. However, again, stay on topic please. This thread is JUST about her current issues and bugs. I think I have made that pretty clear.
If the Dev's end up asking "Hey! What's up with Houndmaster?" I have a link ready to explain all of that. That seems to be missing your understanding for some reason.

You can keep saying that this post is only about her current bugs all you want, the fact is that you're quoting a post asking for her to be buffed as a reference, if the post was really meant to exclusively be about houndmaster's bugs you would've quoted a post going over all her bugs instead of suggested balance changes, but that's not what you did.

I am seeing a lot of "she requires no skill to play" and "she is too hard to play against" from you, and I'm not sure if you want every killer to be Blight in terms of difficulty and Springtrap in terms of counterability, but I disagree.
It's fine to have easier to play killers, and it's fine to have killers whose power doesn't allow survivors to have complete control over/doesn't rely on survivor mistakes purely.

I personally hate that they chose to overtune her instead of fixing her bugs. Yesterday she was able to grab me with snug, and while snug was on me she was able to kick a gen, a pallet and still get a hit on me. That just feels wrong.
I want to like her, she should be fun to play as and against, but she isn’t fun for anyone because of how bhvr has treated her. As someone previously stated portia really is just another twins. Hopefully she doesn’t get the skull merchant treatment.0 -

What if the grab time of the dog was based off distance? The more distance….the longer the break free animation. Same for survivors when setting you free far away.
The shorter the distance, the less break free action you have to do?
I wouldn’t say she has ever been overtuned but I agree her dogs vault speed was to fast at 0.45. 0.65 feels too slow in my opinion, the sweet spot would be 0.60.0 -
I’d love to say it could work it entirely depends on bhvr not breaking it. Like she already pulls you faster if you use 120 fps right? Idk she’s just a completely buggy mess right now that needs to be addressed.

Yeah my friend and I discovered that. That’s a bug. Half of her bugs are FPS issues I believe but I could be wrong.
The pull strength at 120fps is the correct pull strength, it’s just not applying to the 60fps for whatever reason.
And yes I agree 💯. I all needs to be addressed for sure. She deserves love. She’s very cool and very unique.1 -
Its just maddening how many killer power related bugs are just still a thing. Consoles are locked to 60 so a good portion of the player base has an advantage against her.

It makes me wonder how many other killers are affected by an fps bug. 🤔Console users have the option to switch to 120fps. However, when I switched I noticed no changes. Snug still pull the same as if I was at 60fps, but you’re absolutely right.
Nothing is more rewarding then getting a grab miles away and snug has 0 pull strength so he just gets slammed by a pallet. Especially if I am getting grabs with the redirect far away. 😤 lol.

these are issues that should be addressed a lot more quickly in more consistent hotfixes. A bug like this should only exist for a few days tops.

I would love hotfixes to be more frequent. Every 2 weeks. If needed?
I would love that but I understand it takes time to get a fix out for console players a little longer. They have to basically “ask PSN/Xbox” if they can and then if yes, they have to pay for it.
For Steam though it’s instant.I just wish there was a faster way. Games like marvel rivals. Goodness they fix stuff on the fly. If it’s game breaking or a nasty bug on a character, it’s fixed in 1 business day.

OP =/= no skill, unfair =/= "too hard" if there's no possible counterplay to be too hard. Regardless, even though I didn't say it until now, I would say that the reincarnation of chucky's manual scamper doesn't take skill to use, believe it or not, and that should be changed, and doing so wouldn't give survivors complete control over the power
