Dumb reflexion : why just not kicking AFK people instead of all that crow stuff ?
The anti-AFK system is highly put to debate, because it also wants to punish extreme hiding and try to do too much stuff.
Another criticized thing is the "crow recover system", which allow you to loose crow over time when you get back in the game.
But instead of having to calculate how many crows are lost over time, according to which action, when the killer already got notified about the AFK survivor…
…
… why not just kicking the human and replacing it by a bot ? With like a disconnection penalty for the survivor and no reward for him ?
That would solves the issue of "one in the team does not do anything" by replacing it by an ""efficient"" bot, but also body-blocking because bots are not programmed to bodyblock others. They just run to their current objective.

not a terrible suggestion to help fix and punish survivors who intentionally go AFK (stand still) and throw games, however i think the crow system is important to make sure that games arent unnecessarily drawn out. replacing a human with a bot after 3 crows or such would still lead to an extremely drawn out game. they could definitely try having both systems as features to solve different problems

Ah yes, the bots that can't even vs90% of the Killer roster because the Killers are so generally OP that the bots just freeze up or run into corners, those bots? lmao The bots that are beyond useless for any Killer that isn't a standard M1.
How about BHVR take away the DC penalty entirely since this is a party game with quick 5-10 min matches that has no amount of SBMM integrated into the matches. These games are atrocious and trying to penalize people who don't want to deal with them isn't going to somehow make this game better to play.

Ill rather want the survivor with 2 to 3 crows to get pinged once in a while and 3 crows should be like constant pings and should ping again the exact moment the said person removes 3 crows because they probably plan to do it again.

The main wrench in the gears that the patch addressed as well is when someone is body blocked. It wouldn't be fair to punish the person that can't move with a penalty when they did nothing wrong.

I have no clue what you're trying to articulate. If someone wants to DC or is afk then clearly they don't want to engage with the match and guess what, nothing is going to change that either. Okay, they get kicked if they get AFK crows, now what? Oh right, they'll run around the map sandbagging teammates, getting slugged on purpose, throwing pallets, or a plethora of other things. Core issue is still there though, Survs not wanting to engage with matches, so why is the focus not on how to improve the game so that Survs want to play? Not forcing them to play, so that they WANT to play.

It helps save time if they dont want to make it so the afk person gets kicked as an optional thing.
Like honestly i liked the previous crow adjustments but it was a bit "buggy" it just lacked pinging feature or at least scream as in crows were attacking the survivor with 3 crows.
If they do make it so afk causes kick then it just replaces it with a bot so its a win win for both survivor and killer

You're not making sense lol I keep saying "match" and you keep saying "game". People who are DCing or going afk don't want to participate in that match and want to go to the next match. That really didn't need explaining lol

Kick them for being AFK after a certain time. Bot takes their place. I prefer a bot over half the teammates I get anyways.
