Allow self unhooking
I couldn't attempt an unhooking when one person was dead and the other two were slugged and then subsequently hooked. Why was it even removed? So what if people do that to go to another game, let people have some freedom, this is supposed to be an asymmetric game after all.

They could've kept self-unhook but removed the fail, or kept the fail but made it to so that you couldn't die on hook until it was down to 2 survivors. Lots of better changes. But for now, you're better off bringing a self-unhook perk like Deliverance or Slippery Meat.

Removing Self-unhook unless you bring bad Luck offerings, Slippery meat and wicked which are terrible perks has allow Killer to gain even more advantage in snowballing the game. Deliverance is the only auto unhook perk that is even worthwhile to use.

It’s better than it was. The few matches where the situation you described happens is lot lower than matches where people would give up just because they got hooked first.
It’s not perfect, but I’ll take it over what we had any day of the week.1 -
No. People abused it to go-next and ruin matches for everyone, so now nobody can have nice things.
If you want to self unhook, you have options. Run Deliverance, Slippery Meat, Wicked if you expect a basement hooking, or a luck offering. You also get to do it for free if the Killer facecamps. Neither you nor anyone else needs more.
Killers need to be able to have some hook pressure and Survivors need to be able to have players who will remain on their team and not throw the game just because they went down first in chase.

My thing with this, its a game, its asymmetrical, there will be good and there will be bad, there's no need to remove everything and set up bowling guides for the game.
