Red Herring Perk Inconsistent.

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: It's understood to activate Red Herring you need to work on a gen for at least 1 second then you can hop into a locker to activate it. Then it goes on cool down for 15 seconds.

The issue is that some matches will let me reactivate Red Herring after the 15 seconds without needing to touch the originally affected generator. And some matches it will deactivate after the 15 second cool down and then I'll need to touch the originally affected generator to begin setting the perk up once more.

PLATFORM: Steam

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED:

Touch Generator without its permission for at least 1 second

Inconsolable generator turns yellow

Proceed to inconspicuously hide into suspiciously conveniently bright red place lockers

Killer receives loud noise notification from the affected generator

Perk goes on cool down

Exit locker

Perk comes off cooldown

This is the part that is the issue

Either Perk can be reactivated and I can hop back in a locker without needing to touch original generator

Or

Perk deactivates and I need to touch the original generator to begin my set up for Red Herring.

I do not have footage at this time to show this issue. I can try to figure out how to record both different events when they occur if you'd like but it might take a while to get both events to occur.

PLAYER LOGS:

I do not know what a players log is.

    Could you please attach the logs?

    To find them:

    • Press the Windows Key + R to open the "Run" command.
    • In the text box paste the following: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\DeadByDaylight\Saved\Logs
      • Click "OK" - this will open your Dead by Daylight Logs folder.
      • If it does not open the Dead by Daylight Logs folder, it may mean that when installing Dead by Daylight you chose to save your files somewhere else and will need to check there.
    • The file called "DeadByDaylight.log" is your log file

    Attached is the logs file requested.

    I was able to capture footage of Red Herring allowing me to Reactivate it once off cooldown AND when I need to touch the original generator before being able to reactivate it.

    When I tried to upload them in this message it said I cannot upload MP4 media. I was able to capture both videos on steam. If you can figure out a way for me to send them to you.

    Also experienced the bug here is logs of it last match on the log. Can't confirm if it blew the gen several times but it never really turn off after the cooldown it was back up and activated when going in the locker.
