Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Healing downed team mates need a boost

There has been too many games where I'm being healed while down and as soon as I'm healed I get downed again because the killer is returning to us. Most people aren't running buckle up, soul guard, we're going to live forever.

Fix: Add buckle-up and we're going to live together (minus the healing speed for balance) when healing a downed team mate to the base kit of survivors.

#########? Healing is already very strong.

Consider using Leader, Soulguard, or Unbreakable if you having trouble with being slugged.

There need to be more kickbacks for Survivors that lose autonomy during the trial. Being on the receiving end of camping/tunneling/slugging is no fun and almost every asymm I've seen handles this better than DBD.

Slugging is absolutely on the rise lately and many trials feel like you're just waiting to surrender. It doesn't necessarily have to be faster healing, but if there was more we could do for ourselves while downed that doesn't rely on perks or is so weak/convoluted that it's not worth using, it would inspire more hope during the trial and cause players to think twice about throwing in the towel.

Things like that are a double edged sword. Previously buckle up and for the people was a combo survivors could use to pick you up instantly after you got knocked down, and then both people could run away with endurance. This^ would prettymuch add that again. And swf teams abuse stuff like that to an extreme. It sucks being on the recieving end in a group of random teammates sure, but for now all you can do if you are experiencing it allot, bring the perks to make it easier.

They were about to test basekit unbreakable in the chaos shuffle and canceled it because it was alredy too exploitable from their own testing. So who knows what the anti slug update is going to end up being now.

Not gonna lie... Tenacity is my favourite perk in the game for this very reason... you move much faster and can frequently be surprisingly clutch .

I love the options/agency it gives me while slugged... and it helps me so often in lots of quirky scenarios, I'm starting to think the perk is heavily underrated.

    • It can make picking up awkward for killers, as they try to face walls to avoid beams, you can waste 2 or 3 extra seconds just by crawling out from under their feet with Tenacity, and often when you do, you force them to look around more to avoid beams, and can waste 5-6s or more... which can means the difference between a gen pop and a pain res.
    • Any time you are downed, if the killer has to push another survivor away, or simply there happens to be a gen or pallet nearby they want to kick, they can't be gone more than maybe 10 seconds without a very real chance of losing you... I've given a surprising number of killers the slip with Tenacity.
    • You can move and recover at the same time, which I'm beginning to think is better than Unbreakable tbh vs. a slugging killer. You can actually move apart from teh slug location to somewhere safer for you and your team, while also losing no time on recovery.
    • Tenacity ALWAYS works and the killer kinda has to deal with you; if ignored, you become a pain for the killer... you are quiet, hard to see and move at respectable speed... whereas Unbreakable you're largely stuck in place and only works once and ONLY if the killer leaves you slugged...
    • You can also take Plot Twist for a perk that effectively let's you heal on the move... and it even works as a budget Unbreakable that can force the killer to pick up in certain hatch scenarios.

Every now and again I take it off,and every time I do, I regret it... the more I play with it, the more Tenacity is becoming a staple of my build... 😶

If I had more slots, Tenacity would be in every build for sure. I used to run No Mither, Unbreakable, Tenacity, and Resilience, but it made me into too much of a one trick pony.

If gens can be done in 4 minutes, the killer has to be able to do something to stop it. Chaining knockdowns for pressure and gradually hooking in between knocks is one of the only strategies that actually works anymore for the weaker killers and that's only if things like wglf aren't in play to completely counter the strat and turn the killer into a meme.

You can't have alterations made that render weaker killers useless just because you're too stubborn to alter your build.
