Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Allow Limited "Skips" for Rift Completion Rewards

I’d like to propose a small but impactful change to the Rift Completion system: allow players to complete each tier’s “completion quest” with up to 3 quests skipped. For example, if a tier has 65 quests total, the reward would unlock after completing 62.

Under the old Rift and Tome system, we could reach the epilogue of each chapter by choosing our quest paths, allowing us to bypass specific challenges that didn’t suit our playstyle. The current system, requires players to complete every quest.

For instance, Survivor mains are now being pushed to play Killer just to earn completion rewards. Personally, I’ve finished every other quest but can’t get a flashlight save, which means missing out on a super cool banner I really wanted.

I get that these are completion rewards, but locking meaningful cosmetics behind full completion feels punishing. An alternative approach could be splitting the completion quest into five stages: the first four could reward cosmetics and artwork, while the final one grants only bloodpoints.
