Hindered Rework for The Clown & The Nightmare

I would like to see The Clown’s & The Nightmare’s Hindered Statuses reworked so their duration aren’t impacted by Vigil.

Vigil’s Impact

As it currently stands, Vigil reduces The Clown’s Linger from 2 seconds to 1.2 seconds (1 second to 0.6 seconds in the PTB).

Vigil also reduces The Nightmare’s Hindered from 4.2 seconds to 2.52 seconds.

The Problem

The issue is that these powers already have the direct counter of the Haste status, particularly Exhaustion perks, which Vigil also aids with. These are all commonly used, as well as Vigil.

These killers are hurt the MOST by these perk combinations, and it hurts the potential of both far more than any others (especially since they also have counters outside of perks).

Solution 1

My recommendation is to make their Hindered have a special timer, like The Shape’s & The Ghost Face’s Exposed. Perhaps a special “Ensnared” Status for The Nightmare & an “Intoxicated” Status for The Clown that inflict the Hindered until they leave?

Solution 2

Alternatively, you could simply remove Hindered from being impacted by Vigil. However that would mean it would no longer impact perks that inflict it, which I believe it should. In my view, Vigil should impact perks, not powers.
