Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Skull Merchant

I love playing this killer even in her current state. However I do miss getting more value from my power I feel like now I get very little to no value from my power, she’s no longer great in chase so I have to bring perks like bamboozle, dissolution, I have to bring my geographical readout add on to get value from my power and then add on expired batteries because it’s the only other add on that’s worth using on her now and it’s sad. At this point with anti 3 gen mechanic in place just bring old skull merchant back with quality of life buffs/changes, I still want my haste, undetectable and the constant intel my drones gave me.

Yes, while I am having more fun with her than any other killer in DBD's history, sometimes it is unfairly difficult to get value out of your power, unless survivors make zero effort to avoid drones.

She could really use a reversion. Not a rework. Reversion. Though I personally think a reversion to Merchant 2.0 would be safer than 1.0 (I don't oppose either, just think 2.0 is more likely to be accepted).

No. Skull Merchant 2.0 was same misery as 1.0. Zero skill expression, zero fun, zero interactivity. She was basically mix of Clown and Artist.

Kinda funny to say zero skill expression and then bring Artist in comparison…

Her chase was weak version of Clown, so I still don't get how could survivors struggle so much with it.

I don't think Artist apart from sniper is very skill full either. And sniper sadly don't work against good survivors because any survivor who has brain will hop in a locker or keep changing direction.

She was weaker Clown, so is Freddy. Struggle isn't correct word. As I said the games against her were just straight up boring and since her rework that position belongs to Knight. There was just nothing fun or engaging about going against her. She just trapped loop for a free hit that take long or short time. Kaneki is good example of pure frustration with no interaction or any fun element in the match. Same was her and is probably the best comparasion and people are still complaining about Ghoul and I understand it.
